Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We did have a room with 2 queen beds (which my husband and I have at home) but the bed felt smaller than a queen. During the night, I actually moved over to the other bed because I didn't feel like I had enough space in the bed. Also, I thought the pillows I had were lumpy. Once I moved over to the other bed, I was very comfortable.
The location! It was right off the highway. We went to the Brewers game so it was not far away.

The bathrooms in the pool area were very gross.

That the fire alarm went off at 6am and was on for a while waking us out of our sleep

Rooms in need of repair. Old carpet, many repairs on ceiling, shower, etc. Pool shut down for an extended repair due to many hazards. Otherwise it was a comfy place to stay.
Staff very friendly, awesome breakfast, loved sitting by the fireplace.

We did not realize you must request a room refresh for your second night. We came back to the room to our same wet towels and no more coffee pods. Upon check out I mentioned this and was advised we needed to request that service. The rooms need some upkeep, very slow drain in sink, the above the sink light was slow to illuminate, then one of the bulbs was out, TV signal was lost multiple times trying to watch a show.
Breakfast is nice.....hot options. Rooms are large and have comfortable chairs and a desk large enough for a few suitcases.

Room had a musty odor. Carpets were stained.
The hotel is in a quiet area. The room is large and the beds comfortable. Seemed to be clean. Good breakfast. The evening attendant was very friendly and explained everything there was to explain.

Pool had to be close due to a child bathroom accident, closing the pool was understandable, but more staffing might have been able to get it cleaned and opened up so your guests to use it again, we stayed at this motel so we could use the pool and hot tub and were unable to.
Break fast was good, orange juice was bitter and there was no fruit.

Teens in pool after 10 pm, yelling and screaming. No fresh fruit at breakfast.
Wonderful breakfast. Nice staff. Clean room with comfortable furniture. Nice pool area and lounge.

Garden off pool area needs help.
Good breakfast. Nice pool. Liked having “Adult swim” hours. Comfortable room. Close to our kids. Lots of restaurants in area.

There was a nice bar but only open Mon-thurs, which was odd. Breakfast was mediocre. Rooms were not cleaned up on arrival and two of our party's rooms had to be switched. In need of updates. The elevator was out and we were staying on the 2nd floor
It had a cute lodge feel. The pool was very nice, clean and heated. They offer a free breakfast. Lots of games available for use.

The continental breakfast was rather pathetic in all aspects....very minimal compared to other hotels with continental breakfasts and very bland.

the pool was closed 2 days during our stay, for repairs. we were allowed to use the pool at the hotel across the street. it would not have been a problem but it happened to be the one day we wanted to use it.

There were stains on one of our pillows, and our floor reeked of weed. BUT I would stay there again.

There was no microwave oven in the room. The drains in both the sink and bathtub drained slowly.. The waffle iron did not work properly but to their credit, the breakfast staff member worked very hard to get it to work.
The rooms are spacious, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was clean and spacious. The games in the lobby were fun and inviting.
