Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Had a fantastic stay whilst visiting friends for the weekend in Willow Glen. Cute little house with separate entrance and all the basics needed. Quiet. Convenient and walkable to Lincoln Ave for dinner, coffee, yoga, etc.

We love staying here.. it’s perfect for is. It has everything we need for a few days - a comfortable bed, small kitchen for breakfasts, nice bathroom, enough outlets to charge everything and a lovely sitting area in the sun. Very clean and well equipped in a beautiful, safe neighbourhood. The little treats and bottled water are a thoughtful touch. My husband loved sitting outside with a beer.

The private entrance and solitude. The room was clean and a good size for a studio with all the amenities. The kind hosts left a little surprise of snacks and a couple of beers in the fridge! The sleeping arrangements for our family were perfect for an overnight but would be perfect for a couple if staying more than a few days. I highly recommend this property and the nice hosts!

No complaints!
Absolutely loved our stay! It’s in such a cute neighborhood. It’s very pleasing to the eye right when you walk through the gate. Loved the private small yard that you can relax in. The hosts have thoughtful touches throughout the cottage like filtered water, coffee, and snacks. They have a detailed list in view that explains how everything works, which is super helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Small shower. TV to close to the furniture. However, the plan was to visit family most of the hours so not a big deal.

I will say this is one of the nicer B and B's I have stayed at. Even the additional air mattress was comfortable. The sofa chairs seemed a lil warn but to be expected with many guests.
Location., privacy, easy access. Plenty of amenities, microwave,coffee station well stocked. Very nice setup. The small garden with a beautiful table and umbrella allowed us to enjoy the outdoors.

Nothing really. Maybe a small shelf to place my toiletries by the sink would be nice.
The location was excellent. Cute and quiet little neighborhood. Walking distance to strip of food and shops. Studio was nice and private. We didn't use it, but there was everything needed to cook.

I have to mention again that the bed is very squeaky, so if you're a light sleeper or if that bothers you, just a heads up!
Everything about this stay was fantastic. The living area is very spacious, tv and snacks available, and they use REAL shampoo and conditioner in their shower dispenser (also props for the shower dispenser) which was just HUGE.

The bed is a little squeaky, that is literally the ONLY thing I could say that's somewhat negative haha
The hosts were incredibly responsive to any and all requests via the Booking.com app, they were very clear in their instructions on how to access the property and where things were, and the accommodations go above and beyond in terms of making it feel like home!

Our only recommendation for improvement is getting a new matrass.
We liked the location and having a lovely front yard. Studio has all the necessities and much more! We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the private patio. A couple of friends came over and we enjoyed lunch and a good visit there. Also, the location was perfect for our needs. Also, Teri was very accommodating in providing me with a shower stool to use as I was recovering from a serious ankle break.

Loved everything!
The last time I was here, I still gave it a 10/10 but mentioned the bed frame was a bit squeaky. Well this time they’d purchased a new bed frame!! No more squeaky bed frame and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE. They put real shampoo and conditioner in the shower dispenser and they have a plethora of snacks available. I can’t rave about this little studio enough!
