Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

The last room I was assigned only had a shower...I always look forward to an actual bath. I'll know to mention in the future my preference now.
I've stayed here 4x now in a different room each time and each has been slightly different and all were super comfy. I also love being walking distance from Roosters and Bob Evans.

Orange juice was watery. No shampoo in room. Freezer was frosted over bad. Need a chart to tell what channels available and numbers. Bath tub fixture needed replaced.
Very basic. Running out of things by the time we would get there. Like hot chocolate, donuts, napkins. Still appreciated the coffee and apple juice.

Rooms were not clean. Door to room was damaged and hard to lock from inside. Breakfast was not very good ; not much to choose from. Had to use opened gallon jug of milk for coffee.

I wasn’t able to enter the first room assigned after which they gave me another. No one was available in the office during checkout time. The tv remote control was difficult to understand.

The rooms were not as expected for the price we paid. Not even shampoo and conditioner bottles in bathroom. Floors were unvaccuumed. No amenities at all. Won't go again.

No toiletries in bathroom. Room 106 had tiny pillows for a king bed. The outlet in our room sparked. A little concerning.
Easy check in. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Clean. Nice fridge and t.v Comfortable.

Outside needs a refresh, pillows were flat, shower was difficult to operate. 1 lamp in room didn't work.

Price increases every year, hotel just ages. Again, no breakfast, blamed on covid when rest of state has no masks on anywhere. Which would be okay if noted on the website, or a certain amount off on the bill since I am paying for the breakfast.
Guest that weekend every year for 10+ years because of location. Refrigerator in the room is nice (also Microwave)

Only issue was old sticky carpets. Do not let this effect your purchase. Very great hospitality and staff just a little dated yet very clean.

I have been using the Wilmington Inn for a single weekend every year for the past 10 years. In that time, the quality has dropped and the price has increased 50%. Still, not the most expensive place to stay. I wonder why the price went up when the quality went down. We have decided that after 10 years and even driving out of our way to stay there because of the past we will be changing to something different next year. I understand COVID-19 and not having the continental breakfast as they did Pre-Covid-19, but since the price went up shouldn't they at least provide a brown bag breakfast roll, fruit etc. as other I have stayed in have done since COVID-19? They still charged more this year. Room quality, we had ants in the bathroom, the bedspring on one of the beds was broken and you can see light outside through the bottom of the door. Is there a plus? Yes, I have to say the refrigerator was nice. It looked somewhat new and had a separate freezer which allowed my freezer blocks to freeze over night. But, not going back sadly.
