After a rainy cold day the room was warm and the beds were comfortable, the shower was warm. We also ate at their restaurant and the food was delicious. I would definitely book their again and I will always remember this hotel as an excellent place.

The bistro restaurant had a wine event on so we were not able to eat dinner at the hotel. Also the only breakfast was via a food truck but that didn’t open till 9am

Good room with comfortable bed and pillows. Good location.

The location of the hotel is far away from most things in the valley.

The history in the property can’t be beat. It was a beautiful hotel, the court yard was beautiful, and the staff was super friendly. I loved the size of the room. It gave us room to spread out and made for a very comfortable stay.

Not much to do and see in Del Norte.

It is a nice, renovated hotel with an interesting history. We had dinner at their restaurant for 2 nights - the food and the service was very good. We did make a trip to the Dunes - it was interesting.

Bathroom corner shower a tad tiny. Towels for very short people too.

Super friendly staff. Fun bar. Comfie bed. Unique spot woth lots of info on the history. Location great - cute town with fun shops/restaurants/coffee shops on the same block and across the street. I like that the toiletries were small size so we didn't feel like we were being wasteful.

What a lovely place to stay! Our room was large and beautiful (filled with antiques), and overlooked the brick patio courtyard below. The beds were comfortable, and we had space to spread out. I loved the homey feeling of this hotel. We enjoyed dinner in the dining room. They recommend reservations for dinner, and I can see why. The staff is professional and the food delicious. My favorite parts were the appetizers (I recommend a salad and the cheese and meat tray) and fresh vegetables. The owners take pride in this historic hotel they have restored and maintain. They have a distillery and bar, too -- connected to the restaurant. What a gem to discover in Del Norte!

This is absolutely minor, and doesn't change my overall opinion of the hotel, but it would have been nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in our room. We had leftovers and no real place to keep them consistently cool (although our personal cooler helped a bit).

Tim, the owner, went above and beyond to assist my wife and me. We brought our kayak with us, but soon realized that there was no available transportation up the river. Tim not only volunteered to take us up the river and drop us off, but he assisted us with leaving our vehicle at the river's exit point so that we could readily return to the hotel when we were done! Now that is service!

Due to it being a Sunday night and a holiday weekend most of the restaurants in town were closed, including the one in the hotel. The did have a food truck in the rear courtyard.

The Hotel was is great shape for almost 150 years old. The room was on the small side but very comfortable and the tall ceilings made it feel bigger.

Only items to mention is no real breakfast option (but some option in town) and a bit loud from outside even with closed windows - but music stopped early evening, so didn't bother during night

Great historical place, nice interior, wonderful small hotel with character
