Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicI asked to fix the tap in the shower, but nothing happened for 2 days of my stay.
Very close to F line leading to Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, or St.Patrick Cathedral. Shops and takeaway restaurants are very close. There is a microwave and hot water in the reception accessible all day. Coffee too.

United KingdomAt first the area seemed a little rough but really the F train going into Manhattan was only a short walk from the hotel. So really really handy to explore New York.
The hotel room each day was kept immaculate. I cannot praise the chamber person enough. The hotel was so clean and it was so well thought of to have soap and shampoos in the room as well. But the chamber person was exceptional.

United States of AmericaThe area around the hotel on 40th is very dirty and even on the 12th floor there was a lot of street noise.
The property was easy to get to from the subway and a good location for visiting both Manhattan and Queens. The check in was easy and Jose did great job of getting rooms together.

SingaporeIt’s located in a more industrial area, so may be a little noisy early morning, but nothing unbearable. It’s also a short walk (7-10 minutes) to the nearest subway station (Court Square-23).
Clean room, good size, has a microwave so it’s easy to heat up food and hot drinks (especially on chilly days)

United States of AmericaThe only issue we had is we could not watch Netflix because the TV did not have internet access. We watched the Superbowl Game, which was fine.
The size of the room was large. Refrigerator was nice. We wanted a high floor and received it. The facility was modern and clean. There were two chairs a desk, a nice closet, large bathroom, and plenty of room to move around. The bed was good. The receptionists / front desk clerks were elegant, classy, & helpful. It had a good location. One can just take the F train and walk down to 40th Street - closer than most hotels in the area. The price was excellent - but that can vary depending on the date you book.

NetherlandsBreakfast lasted only until 10am and on one day, when items had run out at 9.30am they didn't refill, claiming "there was nothing left". On other days that wasn't an issue and ample refills were provided up until 10am. It strongly came across as if on that day staff didn't feel like going that extra mile to arrange a refill. Especially the first few days, rooms don't get cleaned every day (new policy due to Covid-19). It is possible against no extra cost, but you have to ask for it specifically. It wasn't the nicest neighbourhood with a few dodgy people hanging around in the street leading up to the hotel. Even though personally we never had any problems, I could imagine the hotel would wish for a slightly more upbeat and vivid neighbourhood.
Free breakfast was good - not an enormous amount of choice but then again, in most US hotels they don't offer a lot of choice. Pleased to see there was some fruit. The room was great, good bed, good view, decent chairs, spacious, nice and modern bathrooms. Subway to downtown was only 250 yards away, which was great, with a few more lines to choose from just a few blocks further away. Two computers with printer were available in the lobby for any kind of service you may need. Wifi was of excellent quality in the entire hotel, and easy to apply. Staff was very pleasant and helpful at all times.

United States of AmericaOne hotel front desk employee thought it within his purview to lecture me on how to hold an elevator while waiting for my wife. The area surrounding the hotel is very sketchy at best so we to a Lyft when going out. The television station available line up is HORRIBLE with no premium channels but ESPN and only local channels available. This is unconscionable in this day and age with so many available options throughout the industry.
The hotel was clean and MOST of the staff were friendly and very helpful.

United States of AmericaSomehow I wasn’t sure of parking when we went. So we did find off-street parking. In the neighborhood I was a little worried about parking, but it was fine. HOWEVER, there are about 6-7 parking spaces in front of the hotel that cost $25. NO PROBLEM for NY! BUT if you leave you lose the parking. So I would much rather pay a little more and guarantee that space. But anyhoo! That’s a NY hotel for you; not a lot of parking.
The rooms were clean and they did not have carpet!!!! They were also modern. Someone near our room was smoking; because I could smell it in the hallway. But we COULDNT SMELL IT AT ALL IN OUR ROOM which was a major plus!!!!! Overall, I would def stay again! It lived up to my expectations for a Wyndham hotel.
