Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pool area was in serious need of repairs and the hot tub was NASTY, the dirtiest I've ever seen. Lucky for me the jets didn't work because as soon as I got in I was able to notice all the floaties - dirt, dust, hair and other small and unidentifiable things floating by. I got out and jumped in the ice cold pool to try and rinse off but it was in the same condition of cleanliness. Had to go to my room to clean off.
The room was comfortable and fairly roomy. No serious deficiencies. The hot breakfast was ample, it had eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Plenty of seating available.

They only had Luke warm water for the bathroom sinks in the shower

In the rooms the smoke detectors have a green light that flashes, it’s not that bright when the lights are on, but is brighter when it’s dark and it did. That’s about all I didn’t care for.
The location, price and how clean and friendly it was. Parking was good.

I didn’t like my room specifically. The doors were not fully furnished enough. There was gaps through the doors which i could clearly see the outside halls. That made me very insecure and unsafe. Also the toilets were dirty, the paintings were torn off and looked very old and weary. I also didn’t like how shear the bathroom doors were and the shower curtains were. I really like the environment and room accessories but i wished these things were much better.
I like how quiet the place is and also how not busy the roads nearby are. I loved all equipment and accessories were provided in the room, from coffee till iron board and Bible.

Breakfast… I was a little bit disappointed that breakfast tasted a little nasty… Eggs were dry, waffle mix was liquid, no syrup for the waffles, no peanut butter, no yogurt, Breakfast was a complete and total failure. That and there were a few things damaged in the room I stayed in… The Mini Chair front leg was hobbled, can tell it was 1 good yank and you could break the front leg off. And also the coffee maker in the room didn’t work… After doing further research one of the parts were missing. The part where the coffee is supposed to go wasn’t there… which leaves me to believe it was either misplaced or stolen by one of the previous guests…
I liked the fact that the front desk staff were amazing! The cleanliness was on point, the staff was super friendly, the bathrooms were some of the best looking bathrooms I ever walked into, beds were super comfy, Heaters worked…

The toilet seat was chipped in several places - which made it look dirty. It wasn't - but it was very unappealing to look at. I mentioned this to the employee when I checked out. It would be an easy replacement and worth the money to not alarm guests every time they started to use the bathroom. Also, a good deal of grout was missing in the tiles in the bathroom. There was no shower liner.

Only thing I didn’t like is I wanted a bathtub instead of a shower, but otherwise everything and everyone was great
