Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe room is very small. There’s no real closet, just a bar with a couple of hangers.
The location in the Garment District is perfect to walk around in Manhattan or to get anywhere with public transportation, the buffet breakfast included in the room rate gives you enough fuel to start the day and the noise insulation is quite good.

United States of AmericaThat there was no parking close by, we got parking ticket when unloading our van and we had paid $17 for 15 minutes, Then we went wound the corner to park at parking garge used by the hotel and they said our minivan would not fit so we had to park over 3 blooks away with no hotle discount. For a king room the room was very small. the bed was right up against the window making it hard to get out of the bed in the dark.
staff was great! breakfast was better than most complementary breakfast in hotels. room was clean and quiet.

United States of AmericaThe smell at the lobby, we booked our room with a queen bed and for our surprise was a full bed. I went down to complain with them but they insist the bed was queen and ITS NOT ! The breakfast room is too small. We couldn’t get a table to seat. It’s not a cheap place and I believe they could offer a better service.

United States of AmericaThe room was tiny - barely enough room for two people. We ordered a queen but the bed was smaller than a queen. The bed was VERY uncomfortable - a foam mattress rather than a real mattress.
Great location. The shower was excellent. The staff was very pleasant. The building security was excellent - card key needed to enter the building and to use the elevator. The buffet breakfast was more than just pastery and coffee. DIscount with hotel validation at local parking garage.

United KingdomThe breakfast room simply isn’t big enough. We don’t mind waiting in a queue to use the toaster etc, but we had to sit in the lobby twice. People do take their sweet time eating - but maybe a staggered breakfast booking system would work?
Great value for money. Central location but nice and quiet for NYC; ample room size for the three of us (adult family); cleaned everyday unlike other hotels; very helpful and friendly staff; good selection of food at breakfast.

LuxembourgIt's a relatively expensive hotel. The cleaning service is well done when it's done. Don't hesitate to ask for it. The downside is the breakfast: the hours are more suited for businessmen than tourists. The room is cramped and the food is very ordinary. Don't hesitate to complain about it too.
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Manhattan. Everything is within a 20-minute walk. The room is comfortable, although small. The view is breathtaking.

Convenient location, comfy bed, simple ròom but small. The bed is only accessible from one side. Not for a couple. I would only stay here again if travelling on my own.
