Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The air was the only issue because it didn't get as cool as we expected.
The place was clean and in excellent condition when we arrived. We slept very comfortably.

Roads are tricky but if you pay attention to your GPS you’ll be fine. In the spring, wood bees are in full force and could not enjoy the balcony.
WooLoft was clean and comfortable. Excellent communication before, during and after our stay. The bottle of wine was a welcoming touch.

Bug problem
Very nice and neat, the room was decorated lovely and felt homey. Loved the complementary wine and the easy access to downtown.

The trash outside, the grounds was not clean at all, I had to tell my wife you can not judge a " Book By Its Cover" thankfully once she walked inside , she smiled and that was what I was after..

I didn't like, and I don't know how it can be fixed, is the privacy. The upper window above the sliding door other tenants can view into apt and see you, and I could see all thru their home as well, esp at night.
I liked that it was just the right size and room for a solo traveler Monique was sweet and great! Altho I was unable to meet her in person, she was very helpful and accommodating with answering my questions via text or phone. I appreciated that as I am not into all thos tech stuff and get frustrated quite easily. She calmed me and reassured me that she was available to answer any questions I may have. I had issues trying to find messages on the site to find the code and it was getting close to my checkout time and she promptly gave me the code so that I could check out. Also, the location was perfect for the places I needed to go while there. Thank you Monique for ur hospitality and assistance. ❤️

i couldn’t play music ! i couldn’t enjoy my birthday!! why have a radio if you can’t play music,, the washer and dryer was extremely hard to use!!! i followed the guidelines of the washer and dryer and my clothes were drenched didn’t work at all!! the balcony patio blinds kept falling off!! i figured she knew about it but i’m so grateful i took pictures of the washer bc at this point she’s trying to blame me for it not working properly!! when i read the manual it said something about it depends on the humidity of the house!!! i paid way too much money to have this devastating experience!! i didnt see any house rules until after i departed am i being targeted ??? I WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN EVERRRRRRR PLUS THE HOT WATER GETS COLD EXTREMELY FAST!! SHE CHARGED ME FOR A CLEANING FEE BUT WANTED ME TO CLEAN THE PROPERTY!!! PLEASE BE ADVISED PLUS THE PLACE IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!

There was no toaster. Owner texted me 8:15pm one night while we were watching TV @ said that her noise meter was above average in the loft. I felt like a child. What an entrusting into my peace. I do not recommend this place. Pat M

The road to get to the loft is very bumpy

Literally FINDING the location was difficult. Tried different map apps and it was still very confusing. The parking is bad-my car scraped on the parking lot multiple times. The fragrance in the loft was OVERPOWERING and way too much! We both had headaches within 5 min of arriving. We were forced to open windows/doors to allow fresh air into the property.
Location to downtown was good. The bed was very comfortable.

My only problem was the view off the patio and the fact that I couldn’t find a cutting board. But those were pretty small issues compared to the positives!
Very comfortable and welcoming. Everything was easy to find and use on site. It had all the amenities necessary for an easy and enjoyable stay.
