I really enjoyed my stay at WoodSpring Suites Austin Central. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities that I needed, fresh towels were available anytime at the front desk, and there was plenty of car parking available on-site and free-of-charge. Most importantly however, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and really went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

A bit too close to the highway to have a window open if you are in a room at the back. No cooking utensils, I do not know if you can rent/get them from reception - we had our own as we had been camping for most of the holiday. Shower could have been hotter (I like my showers very hot), the water was hotter in the basins.

Plenty of space, good facilities, including a large fridge & freezer, very clean. Friendly staff. Easily accessible. Modern building.

1. Lack of multiple pillows. Pillows were too thin so there was not enough stuffing in them. We were only provided 2 pillows, the addition of extra pillows may be better. 2. No shampoo or conditioner provided either.

General manager helped us resolve an accidental booking issue quickly.

While the room had a full sized fridge, microwave, and two burners, there were absolutely nothing else to cook or serve food on. Yes, you can BUY a kit from them, but it's not worth it. Even one of the counter staff said we would be better off going to a dollar store to get what we needed. So we went to the grocery store and bought bowls, flatware, napkins, food, etc. By the way, there is no maid service, if you stay a week or less, you have to bring your towels down to the lobby to exchange for clean, and no ice machine. There is a coin laundry on premises and a simple workout room.

The place was immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable, except the pillows, and the price was reasonable. The coffee in the lobby was really good!

Missed not having a pool or outside area to sit during the day or evening hours when we have down time. Being an older person the crazy highway and speed was interesting for me. Thank goodness for u-turns

I like the convenient of kitchen and was told ahead of time about bringing my own dishes and pots. Nice to have washer and dryer available.

Booking.com doesn't sync up with this hotel's system very easily so definitely call in advance to make sure they know you're coming.

I had no complaints regarding the property. I missed the lack of an in-room coffee maker the first morning, but with coffee available 24/7 in the downstairs common room I quickly adjusted.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Terrance & Leeann were available for any questions or concerns that came up & quick to provide answers & solutions. The rooms were good sized and sparkling clean, just what you want in an extended stay hotel. I was grateful for a comfortable affordable room that I was able to easily rebook as my plans changed.

Too much noise coming from the highway. Rooms up to 30 facing the highway are very noisy as if you are sleeping in a tent on a highway. I had to change my room to 31 to hear less noise. No hairdryer, no iron (they gave me one upon request), no dishes or anything for the kitchen. If you want to cook, you need to buy your own stuff. The blanket and sheets were cheap and disgusting, so I changed them to my own and slept well. One last thing: the hot water was not hot in the bath tub. It was hot in both sinks but barely warm in the bath tub.

Walls are thin, you can hear everything that was going on outside the room. Some night s was a bit noisy. You can hear thumping and banging and moving furniture around, poeple talking. But, I’m pretty sure that’s how it is leaving in apts. maybe I’m just being extra sensitive with noise bcus I’m not use to it. But that’s it overall everything was good.

It was clean, friendly staff, had a gym, coffee and kitchen. Was able to cook, but had to buy all the kitchen necessities, but it’s ok.
