The front entry smelled of smoke and the doors were locked. A man who was sitting with trash bags filled with clothes and was sitting inside opened the door for my family and another guest, who arrived via Uber. We waited at the front desk for ten minutes to be greeted or checked in. I finally called the phone number. A girl answered the phone from the back yelling that she couldn't hear me. She finally came to the front and was not friendly at all. When we went into the halls the hotels smelled of urine. The room itself was clean but very bare feeling with metal bed-frames, no dust ruffle around the bed and the comforters not tucked in. There was one small bottle of shampoo, one bar of soap, one roll of toilet paper and two towels.

The rooms were clean.

the cleanliness of the horrible smelling room

upon arrival the room was very cold. we left and reduced the temp. well when we came back the smell in the room ws GOD AWFUL! No carpet so this smell was coming from the floor. Smelled of "piss and mustiness" This room wasnt cleaned properly. We were there for a baseball tournament and all other places were booked or wed have left.

The bed had pee stains. There were only 2 pillows. The room smelled. The toilet was broke. The shower door was broken. There was rust on the lamp plugs. There was mold in the shower. The shower pan was loose.

Walls where damaged, floor had a big whole, rust and mildew in restroom. Two bath towels, no floor towel no washcloths. Stains on sheets, front desk was closed had to wait over an hour for the on call personal to wake up to check in.

No breakfast, waited over an hour for someone to respond. Front desk is closed after a certain time and someone is kept on call and they never answer.

The bed was very uncomfortable, and the staff didn't have any of the items I requested, such as iron and ironing board, even though the premises indicated to ask if needed.

Have a Continental breakfast for guests in the morning.

I was given a key to my room which was Room 306. I didn't at the time go up to the room to check it out, instead my wife and I left to get something 🙃 to eat then returned to the room. Upon opening the door to our the room we were given we saw that it was occupied by someone. I don't know how this could have happened but it did. In the end we were given a different room. So everything worked out in the end.

The neighborhood is rough. A lot of low income high density apartment complexes nearby that in the short while I was there always seemed to have a police presence. This situation exacerbated by the fact that there are no other hotel properties nearby. Just the apartment complexes. So people tended to drift through or loiter.

It was clean. Based on the reviews that I read I understood what I was getting into, but even then it seemed a bit over priced. But everything in the greater Austin metro is over priced. Location was good for my purposes. Parking lot very well lit and seemingly safe.

The odor was musty. The hall carpeting needed cleaning or replaced. The entrance door to the room was not tightly fit -able to see the light in the hall way on both sides of the door which did not make you feel safe. Room more for people who were working in construction than travelers. No ice, no coffee maker. Bed too close to wall and you had to climb over to get to the other side or walk sideways to get in the bed. No Kleenex.

No breakfast that we were aware of. Pets belong at home or in kennel- not hotels

The hotel smelled so bad you got a headache just going up the elevator. They had painted and just left the tape on the alls which was very ugly, the remote didn't come with batteries I had to go down and ask for some and then was given the wrong size and the was very rude about it, so I went to the store and bought my own bc I didn't want to deal with her again.

Made to feel like a criminal when asking for more towels. Must return towels to front desk before new ones were given.

We did not request a room with a handicapped accessible bath and brought this to the front desk clerk's attention. However, we were not given another room. The carpet in the hallway outside the room was dirty with debris. Did not like having to use the room key at the main entrance to the hotel and again to enter the hallway to the room.

We booked the room for two nights. The kitchen had no silverware, cups, paper towels, just empty shelves. Also, only had two towels, no wash rags, no floor mat in bathroom. Was told we had to pay more for additional towels. Just seems below orthodoxy for any hotel.
