Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed was too small, the floors were dirty especially under the bed. There was no comfortable chair in the room.
The front desk attendant was amazing. She was cheerful, helpful and did her job well! Close to the free way, so very good for a quick stop over night on a road trip

The floor under the beds were full of dust bunnies, a screw and orange ear plug. All of the floor area was not swept well.
The beds were comfortable. Air Conditioner worked well. Had full size fridge. The stay was good but the floors were not good.The price was good.

The laminate wood flooring needed a good sweeping. There was a bit of debris on the floor.
Conveniently located off the freeway. We arrived after midnight and the front desk opened up to greet us. Room was well-maintained.

Very basic suite type motel. Few amenities. For example, there are 2 burner cooktops in the rooms but no cookware. Also no coffee makers and no breakfast. Room was clean but had a strange smell by the door. Beds were simple metal frames with a mattress.
Clean and unexpectedly quiet considering the location.

The freeway next to it is a little loud but I got lucky and was put on other side.

The other guests were extremely disrespectful. I understand this is not their fault. However, it did impact my stay. The first two nights a gentleman in a very loud truck parked outside my window and let his vehicle idle for 30+ minutes which made it hard to sleep. The last night somebody in an SUV parked outside my window and played extremely loud music for close to an hour which also impacted sleep. The hallways did smell like cigarette smoke which bothered me but it was hardly noticeable in my room.
I love the way the rooms are set up here, it's very cozy and feels more like a miniature apartment than it does a hotel room.

There was no one there to allow us to check in. N carpet in the building. A weird smell. The room had one small bar of soap and nothing else-no shampoo or conditioner or any of the things normally found in a hotel room. Also no hair dryer

I requested a room for 4, and we only received 2 towels in the room, we were told that is all the rooms get. It is a little silly making people share towels when it's reserved for multiple people. The online did not mention bringing your own shampoo and the standard that most hotels offer I feel like it should be easier to notice. I also saw quite a few come in and have to wait extended times especially if they were not English speaking.
I liked that it was a secure building. The staff was overall friendly. I liked that it had a full kitchen.

The room was worse than a low budget motel. There was one plastic cup, no shampoo, no coffee maker or way to heat water for tea...not even a pan that water could be heated up on the stove (no kitchenette supplies at all). The bathtub faucet leaked...more like a small stream of water; from the mineralization on it, must have been leaking for quite some time (horrible waste of water during a drought!). The entire place felt rundown, worn out, and not very clean. This, for $90.00 a night?

Smelly , dirty , unavailable staff , bare room no dishes no dish soap no dish towels absolutely nothing but it has a kitchenette Even though there is not supposed to be smoking the entire floor and lobby area smelled of cigarette smoke Dirty If I had a family with me I would have left , it was just a weird vibe and pretty gross Best for solo men travelers , price is decent

Non smoking room Reeked of cigarettes, as did the elevator, hallway & bathroom. Bathtub drained so slowly. Toilet leaked. Pillow were lumpy. Towels were scratchy. Stain on sheets. We checked in late & we’re exhausted or we would have left immediately. Yikes!!!
Hot water in the shower & air conditioning worked well.
