Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

bring earplugs, highway right next to the suites. coffee at reception in the morning. would be better if there was a coffee maker in the room.

Not sure why the cooking essentials are not included. Luckily I read the reviews and brought my own. I was disappointed with all of the irresponsible fellow dog-owners who did not clean up after their pets. The grounds were littered with fecal matter. These people give the rest of us a bad reputation.
Brand new, clean and comfortable. Could bring my dog.

My room was very close to highway and a bit noisy
No breakfast offered. Having to pay for a kit of pans and dishes I have never experienced before

I didn’t like that booking.com failed to mention the $100 hold that is placed on your card by the hotel until checkout. This is in addition to the room price. So I basically paid double for the room. Checked out this morning and have yet to receive my money back. There was also a dirty shirt left in the room. Other then that, it was a nice and new hotel and the young woman who checked us in was really nice and welcoming.
I loved the location and staff was super friendly. Loved the on-site laundry facility.

The bedding was very thin. I was charged 4 dollars above my booking.com price, which I assume was for the bedding. The mattress slid on the metal frame. There was only two washcloths and two towels which were also basic. No hand towels were to be found. The best thing about the room was that it was clean. Everything else was very basic. I was very surprised about the bed frame. Also. There was a kitchenette but nothing to go with it. You had to purchase utensils for the kitchen. I paid just shy of a hundred dollars for a bed to sleep in.
There was no breakfast. Local area was good.

This WoodSpring's location was not the greatest.
I like the fact that WoodSpring has a gym and convenient entrances/exits. Also, Wood Spring's staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Santino.

Intended for longer term stay. Great mini kitchen but no standard amenities like hair dryer and daily housekeeping for free. Requested and got confirmation for a king suite but was assigned a queen instead as staff said they were “sold out.” Got no discount for the change.
Quite new - just opened 3mos earlier — and a good location.

I didn’t like how you could hear everyone walking on the floors above you. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything.
The design of the room was very modern and the bed was very comfortable.

Amenities listed don’t exist. No coffee maker or iron. NO COFFEE MAKER OR MEANS TO MAKE COFFEE. ‘Pet fees may apply’ needs to be changed apply and will cost you $60 and $10 per extra pet.
Close vicinity to get back on the hwy fast. Landscaping is nice.

The woman at the front desk was degrading when I was mistaken and didn’t realize there was a deposit. We had been on the road for 12 hours on our way home from Mexico and stopped to get some rest. She was going to turn us away without any other options but when I called family for help she started being friendly and accommodating. Her name was Selena.

The room was too noisy - refrigerator, air conditioner, bed on legs, and proximity to freeway made it most difficult to sleep.
Hard wood? floors and bed on legs made it easy for your staff to keep it clean.

Pleasantly surprised. Hotel seemed brand new, in a very nice part of Tuscon. Spotless clean. Friendly staff. Very secure with key card required pretty much everywhere
