Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe were in a dungeon I requested a room upgrade which did not happen- and I understand Hotel was not sold out and we were placed in the basement/ 1st floor Tv did not work but they eventually fixed it Bathroom light was Too overwhelming for a middle of the night trip - glass room so lights work everyone up. Should have lower light option or shade on the exterior of the glass bathroom wall attached to the sleeping area Bar was closed on a wed night? In NYC?? Why??

United States of AmericaFor the price and location a free continental breakfast and full service all day coffee and tea station would have been great. For someone who is not familiar with the city or area not having a guaranteed 1st meal to start the day was hard. The lobby was so small and not welcoming, there were no maps or pamphlets about transportation options and for someone visiting the city for the 1st time it would have been extremely helpful. Also there was not any promotional materials for all the things to see and do in NYC which from a tourism standpoint should be a priority. Some type of shuttle service from the airport would have also been nice! The rooms are also not friend or family friendly due to the frosted glass wall that separates the bathroom from actual room. It makes for very uncomfortable situations. The rooms were extremely small, limited hanging space and no information about the hotel itself was provided…ice machine, office area, etc!
The only good thing was my room had an amazing view of the city and I could also see the Statue of Liberty and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in.

SpainWe stayed there just a few hours as we only slept there, arrived at 9pm and checked out at 8am… they charged us 55$ as a deposit even though we told them we were going to leave early.
The room was big and clean

United States of AmericaThe toilet backed up twice it was a serious inconvenience for me. It seems it didn’t have enough pressure to properly flush. Parking could be better to they only have a limited amount of spots in the back? But that’s NYC so I understand.
The hotel was nice. Definitely all you need for single person or a couple traveling. The room was clean and comfortable.

United States of AmericaWe were in Brooklyn for a wedding. Family and friends occupied at least 10 rooms, but there was no place for us to sit and visit. The dining area was unused most of the day, but staff would not let us sit there. The lobby was about a 10ft by 10 ft area with one couch. The place would have been fine for a business trip or individual weekend, but not good for a group.
The hotel was clean and the bed very comfortable. Rooms were small but on par with other places in NYC. Close to subway and lots of good choices for food in the neighborhood.

United States of AmericaHVAC system a little wonky. Thermostat not accurate — several degrees off — and the room felt warm and stuffy after a couple of days. It needed some fresh air but there was no way to effectively do that.
Updated and clean, great view of Manhattan, nice bathroom, comfortable bed.

United States of AmericaBedrooms were pretty mod and comfortable. We had a room with an amazing view of the city. I’m not sure how our experience would have been without the view. The lobby is small and not impressive but our room was an unexpected bonus.

United States of AmericaThe hotel was lovely, nice and clean. The only problem was the parking. the parking was little, It was first, come first serve. In you had to pay extra but if you came back to the hotel in there was no space, they would give u back your money. Other then that the hotel was an lovely place to stay.

United States of Americai didn’t like that there weren’t microwaves and proper fridges in the rooms. the fridges only run for 2 hours at a time which means your things can go bad. the fridges were also on the smaller side for a typical hotel.
