Food choices could have been better

The hotel was ok. No major issues other than I had to make 3 trips to my room upon checkin because the key didn’t work. The room was fine. Beds comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t the best because there were limited healthy choices. Everyone else seemed fine so that’s my issue. Customer service throughout the hotel was friendly and approachable.

The rooms could use some updating. Our closet was not easy to access, you could open it to hang clothes, but just not easily opened or closed. Water pressure was good, handle to shower was not easy to adjust.

The staff at the hotel was very accommodating and friendly. We were there for High Point furniture Mart. There was a restaurant connected to the hotel. The food was delicious and the service and staff there were very efficient and friendly.

Friday was sort of noisy outside the room and in the room next door for awhile. The commode in the bathroom apparently had a small leak, all through the night the tank would make noise as it refilled.

Breakfast was good. We ate at Cooper's Ale House Saturday evening. It was good and nice that we could walk to it.

There was obviously a tremendous amount of wear and tear everywhere. Not sure if these would be maintenance issues, that could have been fixed by a maintenance team, but they didn't effect our stay just something that takes away from all the good. Definitely need paint touched up everywhere! Lots of scratches, dents, peeling, Knicks everywhere. In our room there was what appeared to be moisture damage in a lot of places...cracking, bubbling, peeling on walls as well as molding coming off in these areas I'm sure it could be fixed if they had enough staff. The bathroom had similar issues, as well as caulking missing and the first layer of wood on the door coming off, as well as on the TV area. For the breakfast area which isn't a major issue would have been nice to have a waffle maker for fresh waffles, bc the French toast they made was a brick .. Also creamer, and oatmeal vat to get oatmeal. Other then these minor things that didn't really affect our stay it was a decent place with kind people. Please don't let the photos scare you, these are minor maintenance issues, weAr and tear...they are not as concerning to me. If I found bugs or roaches that would bother me more but it was clean

There are a lot of pros and cons to this facility. Pros: Convenient location right off interstate. Restaurant on site. Friendly staff Rate was fair. The room was obviously sanitized or cleaned we assumed due to the bleach smell that hit us as soon as we walked in, I won't complained about that bc I want a room cleaned. Seemed clean, but lots of wear and tear that I will list in cons. Nice little breakfast room that served a buffet, pros and cons there too. Coffee was excellent..but they ran out of the pump creamer. They were constantly cleaning and wiping things down after each person got their food. They were replenishing what they didn't run out of. Basic stuff eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, toast, fruit, two cereals. It was good and appreciated. They have a little store near front desk for snacks, etc. Didn't use any of the other facilities so not sure about those. It served our purpose.
