The not warmed pool. Everything else was awesome. Definitely will stay again.

Loved the location. Loved the breakfast in the morning and that it had a indoor and outdoor pool but it’s not heated inside wish it would have been since it was a little cold out kids didn’t get to enjoy it.

We stayed in a suite in the other building. Every time we would enter the building there was lots of smokers near the entrance. I think the smoking area should not be at entrances of the building but removed to the side or something. We are smokers and prefer not to walk into second hand smoke or have my children around it. There was also a strong smell of marijuana in the entrance and elevators. That was very uncomfortable to walk through with my children. Our room did not have blow dryer. I have not been to a hotel that didn't provide that in their amenities.

The breakfast was good. I wish there would have been an option of just plain eggs without weenies or potatoes in them. With a meat choice on the side as well not mixed with eggs or potatoes. We stayed on a high traffic weekend. Their were lots of kids for a football tournament which we were also attending. The staff had a very rowdy bunch of boys and they were great with them. I'm sure the kids went through 300 pool towels since our tournament was postponed due to the weather and the staff was very accommodating.

Bathroom has a very pungent plastic smell when we first got there. Breakfast was okay. But the really sucky part was that out alarm went off at 6:00 am (very loudly I might add) and woke everyone up (and we were very very tired) apparently they didn’t verify and someone left the alarm set for 6:00 am it was the worst. Also, they’d told us that we could go get our bags outta the room at 12:30 pm latest and they had already deactivated our keys at 12:00 pm.

Best location and really nice interiors. It felt very clean and sophisticated. Room was pretty spacious and had comfortable bedding. Check in was a breeze.

The Jacuzzi jets & heater weren't working but staff did go ask for us. Heater jets were working for pool but was a cooler morning. Jacuzzi was still warm though.

Breakfast was nice but didn't see biscuits for the gravy they put out. Maybe we went too early (6:20am).

When I arrived to the breakfast area, some of the food recipients were empty, so I could not see what they really offer for breakfast. This is not a big deal but just a comment: It was not easy to get there using Google maps because the hotel is not in a main street but a kind of interior block. Breakfast could be better.

It has good location if interested in being close to the Mall of McAllen.

The hotel finished painting on the same date of our arrival and the smell and sting to the eyes was awful, couldn't find availability anywhere else close so we stayed only for the nigth. The hotel management is not very organized, they gave the same room to other family who entered the room while we were there and of course they left in a second.

Location is great and staff was awesome.

Didn’t like that they made a big deal about the wrist bands for the pool .. which I understand it’s policy but there were a lot of ppl in the pool area having bbqs and they had a lot of ppl over with no wrist bands and they were all in the pool .. and the worst part was that the staff went over to where they were and got some food from them and took it back to the front desk.. I thought that was pretty unfair

Loved the hotel, they have security at night which made us feel safe. We appreciated the late checkout (1 hour later, check out time is @ 12pm) they gave us and they had a nice complimentary breakfast within reasonable hours. The pool was nice as well. Overall we would book this hotel again. 4th of July weekend well spent!

Toilet and room phone were not working when we checked in. Toilet issue was fixed but the phone was not working the whole time we stayed in our room.

Toilet flushing issue was resolved within a few minutes.

The heated pool and jacuzzi outside weren’t working . It was very cold and my reason for staying was for the pool. I have a pool at home outside ,but it’s cold. I would’ve just stayed home. The jacuzzi smelled so bad of urine ,it was even brown or green with white film over it. Maintenance said its been broken. The waterfall was also out of service . Only 2 out of 8 exercise machines worked. Our towels and sheets also had old stains on them.

The staff at location were very nice . I have nothing else to say but I can’t submit this review without filling this box completely.
