The construction going on at the hotel. Lack of coffee in the lobby. Staff said we just ran out of coffee and will not be making anymore coffee. This was at 7:53 am.

Our stay was a little disappointing, not what we usually encounter at this location.

The type of room we booked was not available when we arrived. We wanted two queen beds, we got a King and sofa bed. There were not sheets, pillows or blankets available in the room when we arrived. We had to call for them. The lobby was a mess with the construction and we were disappointed the bar was not in its usual order, which we enjoy using when there. We went to a different hotel bar. Most of the trip only one elevator was working which caused a lot of delays. Daily housekeeping was not available unless we requested, so we had to call for extra coffee each day as well as towel replacement.

We like the location of the hotel, parking availability, room location, and floor. The accommodations in the room were fine.

Check in was extremely long with insufficient staff. Property was under restoration so no restaurant facilities. And morning coffee was usually empty which was frustrating. This was during Pitt graduation and the rooms were extremely expensive.

Elevator issues. Got stuck in elevator and was delayed many times with only 1 working Not happy with the restaurant on site. Overpriced and was not happy with food, mediocre and cold. Did not find the atmosphere to be inviting or clean.

It’s under construction, pool is closed, bar is removed and there is a silly make shift bar with no bar seating in a corner of the restaurant. Elevators are unpredictable and sometimes hard to get to work with the card reader. Up on arrival our room had 3 tissues left in the tissue box and I pack of coffee (for 1 cup) I went and asked for more and got two more packs of coffee equaling 3 cups for two people spending 3 nights. We never got a new tissue box even after letting them know we were all out. Parking is very expensive. Hotel prices were jacked up due to graduation weekend and we spent over a thousand dollars for the 3 night stay in a hotel in the middle of a huge renovation ☹️

Hotel was under construction and looked like it needed it. My room was dark, dated, but functional. But 100% met my needs at a reasonable price.

Perfect location and price for an overnight at Pitt. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Easy walk to everything.

It was false advertising. But the person at the front desk was wonderful and sympathetic, and helpful. Just a bad choice from management ahead of time, in my opinion.

The location to Pitts campus cannot be beat. But after checking in we were told the amenities we were expecting- pool, laundry and work-out room, were not functioning because they were in construction mode. Another hotel told us they had a fire... thus the construction. So I felt bad for them, but they should have told us BEFORE we arrived, so we could have made other plans. I was very annoyed. They have since offered me $52. and did a total refund... I think.... so they handled it well, AFTER the fact.

Facility was undergoing renovations. It would have been nice to know that in advance of arrival. It didn't impact my trip, but there was considerable noise from the construction beginning at 8:00 AM. Also, housekeeping only visits every 3 days. Would have been nice if someone came to empty trash cans which were overflowing by the end of the stay. I requested a new towel and extra blanket from the front desk, it never arrived.

Very friendly staff! Location was amazing. In/out parking was exactly what we needed, I knew that would be a premium in Pittsburgh. Room was adequate, a standard hotel room.

We were not forewarned that the hotel would be under construction and water shut off during the morning of our stay. They offered to accommodate with a different room later IF the water shut off, but that was stress and rigamarole we didn't need, so we just left very early.

Restaurant staff were very accommodating when I stopped in for an order to go just before closing time.
