Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandThe hotel is often used for private events, mostly weddings, so it can be loud. There are also adjacent bars in the neighborhood, so if you are looking for a perfectly quiet stay, it may not be the right choice.
The building is in a perfect location in Brooklyn. It has been beautifully converted and tastefully decorated. The rooftop bar has incredible views of Manhattan and great drinks. The rooms are huge and very comfortable.

SloveniaIn the room there was no light in the corner where the table was. Thin walls between the rooms.
Hotel staff! They were all amazing - nice, cheerful and helpful. Especially Jack. The room was also very nice - nicely decorated and clean. There was a clean and pretty bathroom and a comfy bed. The hotel itself was also pretty neat and nice looking, with a nice restaurant and a bar with a great view. The neighborhood was also great with close vicinity to the ferry.

United States of AmericaThere are two clubs on the opposite corners that open after 11 so noise is definitely an issue.. bring ear plugs or a way to block sound and you will love your visit!
Loved the vibe of the hotel, the staff, the two bars and the quirky neighborhood .. beds were extremely comfortable as well.

United States of AmericaIt is not the quietest hotel, as I can hear noises above me and throughout the hallways. It also lacks complimentary water in the lobby, as many nearby hotels offer. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.
The room was clean and roomy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the turnover service and loved the chocolates and fresh water left on my bedstand every night. I also liked that this hotel had a doorman. The location of this hotel is excellent.

GermanyBoutique Hotel charm at its best! Great setting, style and attention to detail. Super nice staff at door, check in, bar and breakfast. The rooftop bar is easy with good drinks and great views, including an open terrace. Breakfast was delicious. We travelled with 2 teenagers and had two Brooklyn rooms (huge rooms with super comfy beds) on the 4th floor with almost perfect view towards the Manhattan skyline. North Williamsburg is classic hipster - and a nice add-on to the NY experience after 4 days in Midtown Manhattan. Staff was super nice and let us store our luggage for the day 1 week after our stay at the hotel, when we were on our way back home and spent a last day in Brooklyn before heading to JFK!!

ItalyJust a few things to mention: of course, it is not the cheapest solution people can find, but taking into account all the services and amenities, the price is absolutely justified. Last, in the room the heating/cooling system was working autonomously and sometimes it started at night while we were sleeping, so it was a little annoying, but I am sure that if we had approached the staff they would have programmed the system differently and eliminated the discomfort.
Quite everything. The room was beautiful, clean and big enough, with an incredible view directly to Manhattan skyline, so we could take showers watching the Empire State Building, just incredible! The staff was really nice, they also paid attention to my gluten intolerance. The hotel is in a great neighbourhood in Brooklyn (North Williamsburg) and it was really nice exploring the area on foot, too.

United States of AmericaThe elevator is a little noisy we could hear it all day and night in our room. Also there was a party in the bar and our room was right above it. The bar next door plays really loud music on Saturday night. Just something to be aware of. Having a pair of earplugs is a good idea if you need to get rest earlier. This is a little picky, but I wish the blinds were electric. Also there are no drawers or shelving to unload your clothes, so you kinda live out of your luggage on the floor. There is a closet for hanging.
The hotel was great and the staff was amazing. We had a Manhattan view and it was so worth it! So beautiful to watch the city derring the day and night. We ate breakfast at Le Crocodile it was very good and very convenient located in the hotel We also had drinks at the bar which was very nice. The room size was big and we loved the two lounge chairs in our room which we turned around to face the window and enjoy our wonderful view.

Right off the bat the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful with checking in and answering any questions we had. Albeit personal pref, I thought the design and layout of the hotel was really pleasant and cool and welcoming. The room we had was the perfect size for a couple visiting the city for a few days. The amenities were fantastic. The hotel is in a fantastic location for visiting Brooklyn whilst still being close to ferry ports for quick access to the island. When we asked the front desk for recommendations they were happy to oblige. I was even stopped when someone at front desk saw me in my running kit and they made sure I had a route in mind - if not I could take their planned running route of Williamsburg, which was printed on a post card. All in all the Wythe was the perfect hotel for us.
