A couple of small things could make the stay nicer. There was only 1 K-cup when we got to the room, but we had some of our own so did not ask for more. Since the sink is not in the room with the shower, having 2 soaps would be best or switching to a shower gel and the bar of soap stays at the sink.

The staff at check-in was very helpful. The room had instant hot water and the water in the hot tub was actually hot, just like at home. The room had chairs and a table so we could have coffee together in the morning. There are adjustable book lights on each side of the bed. The room, bed, and pillows were comfortable. It is a good location if you want to walk. There are restaurants, breweries, and stores all within a half mile of the hotel. I left with a very positive feeling for this part of Yakima and will stay at the hotel again on road trips. I read a lot of reviews that mentioned the homeless population in Yakima as a negative, that made people feel unsafe and we did not find this to be true at all. We live in a city so have a different perspective perhaps, but we never felt at risk and our beautiful car was still completely beautiful when we left.

Staff not very friendly, seemed preoccupied. When we first arrived, staff, was there, but busy, at first, not sure, maybe a shift change, but not even an acknowledgement, or hello. Finally one of the two said hello, and checked me in. We left for dinner and returned, and although someone was there, they didn't say hello, or look up and smile, we decided to go for a swim, and no one was there, but saw the gal, so I went over to her, asked for towels, she came and gave us towels. At checkout , I put stuff in car, came in, no one there, but I could hear talking, two were putting away the breakfast supplies, I said aloud while at the desk, I am ready to check out, finally a gal came out, not even a good morning, asked if I wanted my receipt, I said yes please. I told her thank you, have a good day 😊, she replied in like manner. She didn't ask how was our stay, nothing of the sort. No shampoo or conditioner. There were two soaps and a lotion sample. Fridge, not plugged in, had to pull it out to plug it in, no biggie. Very spacious room, newly remodeled. Vineyard decor, It was a very nice room. Comfy chairs. No binder of what is in the area, things to do, seemed to me last time we stayed, there was one.

Loved our room, bed is very comfortable. Remodel coming along nicely.

The handicap parking was not accessible. Very limited parking as they are remodeling the hotel. When I stay at a hotel, I prefer to have my vehicle close to the entrance.

Remolding taking place and not knowing when stay was booked. No discounts during the stay with the materials in the front areas but understandable, it’s easy access for the remodel and easily visible by staff to deter theft.

Front desk staff was great! We have seen her a couple times during our trips to Yakima.

We made a point to get a hotel with an indoor pool for my son. Unfortunately the pool was FREEZING. it was about 60 degrees outside and the windows in the poolroom were open and the pool was non-heated :/ despite confirming before arrival that it was heated. Luckily my son was pretty content with the jacuzzi. The pool was also clearly dirty :/ you could visibly see dirt on Feb bottom of the pool all over. Was a bit disappointed that our room didn’t have the pullout sofa couch that it was advertised with. My mom, son and I shared the king sized bed so it worked out but I did expect to be able to pull out a bed of my own because that was the room I booked and paid for.

The staff here was very nice and accommodating. We were so in a newly renovated room which was beautiful and comfortable. Walking distance to Target and a few restaurants.

The location needs better signage, as it was very difficult to find, even when relatively close. The scrambled eggs were salty beyond belief; they should leave it to the guest to salt their own food.

The hotel is still an old renovation in a not super great neighborhood, but it didn't keep us from parking and walking most places nearby.

Good hotel. Being updated and we were lucky to stay in an updated room. Staff is super kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good. Room had a refrigerator and microwave. Centrally located so we were able to walk most places.
