Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThere was no coffee machine and microwave in the room, which surprised us because we had stayed in 10 other hotels and everywhere it was possible to make coffee or heat food. especially since the house is in the middle of the forest and it is not possible to buy food or go to restaurant. There is also no TV and the internet provided does not work at all!
Big room, great location (55 min to Yosemite Valley)

United States of AmericaThe staff could be a bit more friendlier as this is the only part that needs improvement 😉
the house was awsome, a little bit secluded but close enough to highway 140. Road going to the house might pose a challenge to 2 wheeldrive cars specially during winter.

GermanyOn the Weekend when many people were there the kitchen would have needed more care from the staff.
We liked the kitchen and being in the woods. The Breakfast at the Restaurant was faboulous.

United States of AmericaGetting to the toilet from the 5th floor and back. That is not really convenient at night or in rainy days.
Food was really good, but a quite bit expensive.

United States of AmericaThe cafe closes at 9 pm, and check-in is until 11 pm. We arrived at 9:15 and were no longer able to have dinner.
Everything was wonderful! Clean, comfortable, large portions in the cafe, friendly staff. A wonderful place to relax.

SpainMaybe having a fridge in the room.
Cottages are small but well distributed. Beds are comfortable and decoration is rustic and cute. The balcony overlooking the nature was great, relaxing to drink tour morning coffee in the sun. The cafe is amazing, food is good quality for American standards, price is very reasonable and portions are huge.

United KingdomReally cool (and rustic!) resort, great food and location (and value). Close to yosemite national park - highly recommend for lower budget travellers. The heated tents are actually cabins and were better than expected - i.e., comfy and warm

United States of AmericaThe kitchen meets the practical needs. Even though it is not big but it functions well and very clean. The only draw back is that there is no freezer. Some of my food items spoiled without freezer. When the staff told me that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen for guests, I assumed that there will be freezers as well. However, the kitchen and refrigerators make our staying more comfortable and enjoyable. The room is very small but very clean. The cabin we stayed has a big dresser which I could put stuff on top of it as a table. The only draw back is that there is no closet nor hangers at all. This is a bit inconvenient for we usually don’t use dresser while traveling. The staff are very friendly and helpful, patiently answered all kinds of questions. Very welcoming!

United States of AmericaCons: Cancellation policy (2 weeks) is worse than other properties. Probably better to book elsewhere if you’re visiting during a season when bad weather is likely. Rooms are dingy and dusty. The bright white light bulbs make things feel worse. Warmer lighting would help the vibes.
Pros: YARTS bus stop is a 10 min hike from the parking lot. The June Bug Cafe is a hidden gem! Dinner was excellent! I think the dinner menu changes a little every night, and everything we had was good.

United States of AmericaDid not fulfill my request to put unscented sheets, beddings, I have to ask the attendant . He asked to come and pick the comforter, the sheets and pillow case. I had to smell to make sure there no scent. Then pull all the scented out of bed and onto the floor because I am very allergic to scents. Bed not comfy. My back hurts on the 2nd night. You need to update your new phone number with booking.com. It still has the old one.

United States of AmericaForgot our cabin key one morning when we went down for breakfast, so went into office to get a spare. There were workers in inner office on phone (on speaker) talking about personal stuff while a line was forming in the office. Office isn't that big... I'm sure we made enough noise to let our presence known... waited about 10-15 mins before someone FINALLY came out to help. Terrible service that morning. Also, no TVs in the cabin?
Close to Yosemite. Food was awesome, although expensive. Room was great, just what we needed.

GermanyThe driveway to the resort is a bit difficult to spot from the highway, especially when it is dark because it takes a very steep turn. The room had a bit of a distinct smell.
The room was cozy, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was right next to our room and we had it to ourselves (off-season). The resort is located in nature, but it is still convenient to get to Yosemite (by car/bus) and get groceries in the village nearby. The kitchen for guests was equipped with everything we needed. Portion sizes in the restaurant were huge (from a European perspective). We would come back.
