Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe toilet wasn’t very clean . We arrived after 8 pm and the office was closed. It was hard to get the keys for cabin.
The room was clean, fresh bed sheets, enough blankets. It was close to the gas station

CanadaIronically the main bit we struggled with was the amenities. There is a small fridge and that’s it in the bunkhouse we had. There is a microwave in the grocery store but you can only heat up items you’ve bought (absolutely fine but unfortunate when you have dietary requirements and struggle to find items in the store).
The cabin was very cute! It had very basic amenities and we were lucky that we weren’t too far away from the toilet block. It was very peaceful and would definitely recommend it to people who want to have a little getaway and explore Yosemite. There is enough room for 4 people to stay so definitely great value for money if there is a few of you. We also liked how chilled the staff were regarding late check in and check outs. We just popped in as we were leaving and paid up.

PolandDuring our 2 day stay the bathrooms weren’t cleaned at all :( Also the cabin could be slightly better cleaned.
Great location, nice surroundings, possibility of a late check in. The cabins were cosy and well heated (which was great after a long Yosemite hike :).

AustriaThe reception has only limited hours and they differ from those posted online. Additionally, the connecting street was closed due to damage, which was a bit inconvenient. The bed was not very comfortable. Overall, it was quite ok though

NetherlandsAfter hours access was difficult. Google maps pointed me to a closed off entrance, where there were no clear instructions on what to do. Fortunately other campers helped me out. When I provided feedback to the reception their response was sullen. I doubt anything has changed since. Lacklustre staff rubs off on otherwise nice experience.
Nice 1960s style cabin park, great setting.

FranceNothing really. It's cheap and give more of what can be expected.
The location is really nice. The price was really affordable and the cabin great. It's basically a double bed and one bunk bend with a little fridge but it's cheap, clean and does the work. The bathroom and restrooms were nice and clean.

GermanyCabin(s) could use a little maintenance here and there, some loose skrews and handles. Gas stove could use some proper cleaning, lots of cooking remains, that had fallen in next to gas outlet. WiFi is free at the entrance, but also quite slow. An additional, bookable WiFi service provided by another company is available, but the team told everyone to rather not get it, because it does'nt work reliably. West entrance to Yosemite NP was closed due to bad roads after severe weather conditions, nothing this property could change, just fyi.
We stayed in a cabin and got a free upgrade to a better one on arrival. It was well equipped. The personell was very kind and helpful, the property in a beautiful area. Parking directly at the cabin, could make a fire in front. Laundry was easy.

NetherlandsIt would have been really great if a heating plate for cooking would have been available in the cabin.
Great location, nice cabin and clean toilet/shower building. The location is great. A microwave was available at the shop next to the gas station, which was very convenient since no cooking equipment is present in the cabin.

We have been told only at the check-in the day before and everything was already booked. please inform your customers with a message at least 10 days before the stay. this would be useful

United Kingdom- No access to a kitchen - Like other reviewers we managed to accidentally lock ourselves out of the hut, it was 6am and there were no members of staff on duty and the emergency call box was broken. When we finally were let back in we were told this isn't an uncommon thing to happen... they should consider changing the type of lock or at least putting a sign on the inside of the door
Glamping type experience not far from Yosemite entrance. Comfy bed in peaceful surroundings

United States of AmericaThe bathroom facilities could have been a bit cleaner, but they worked and there was hot water so nothing too bad. No other complaints!
Very close to Yosemite entrance. No wifi or signal, it was a nice way to disconnect and enjoy quality time with my loved ones. The room was affordable and spacious, the heater was also very convenient! Being close to a gas station and general store was also a great plus.

BelgiumVery bad service: in Booking it is mentioned that the check-in is until 20:00, we arrived at 19:15 (and we sent a message before mentioning the timing we expected to arrive), the reception was closed and we received no self check-in instructions. We needed to ask around to finally understand where our keys were. No Wifi password was provided to us in the papers for the check-in, so we spent 2 nights without internet. The reception is open from 9am until 5pm which is not compatible with the hours of people hiking in Yosemite. To complete, in the check-in instructions’ paper it was mentioned we had to go to the reception to pay the remaining balanced, so we went there at 9am (starting our hiking late to be there at the opening hour of the reception) to finally be told that everything was paid… Bed was very uncomfortable.
10 minutes from one of Yosemite’s gates.

United States of AmericaNo internet / service phone at all . There is a provider but 5mbps the speed for $5 day. Haven’t paid and decided to stay offline and was amazing , but if you need to do anything work related plan ahead. It Is saying is not dog friendly ( pet friendly) but actually there is a extra dog poop inside of the cabin and a bunch of neighbors with their dogs too. I could take my dog with me if I knew it.
Amazing place with comfortable cabins. We were expecting less than we got it for the price. Bathroom very clean morning or nighttime and close to the cabin. Good and warm shower. -Cabin: warm blankets, clean sheets and has small fridge. There is a fireplace in front each cabin which made our stay way better. We could be outside watching stars in the clear sky drinking some wine after our day hiking in Yosemite. -For food/ supplies: there is only a gas station over the corner of the cabins but open 8am-6pm so plan around these hours to get any food or supplies. -Check in: Pretty dark during the night and hard to find the cabins if you will do late checkout as we did, so bring a lantern with you. The cabins are almost by the left of the back of the gas station down the hill. There is a radio if you need to communicate with someone to get help with check in out of the regular hours. -Distance from Yosemite National Park : 10 min from West gate that is the closest entrance of Toulumne Grove / 45 min from Yosemite Valley / 1h30 from Glacier (ps: w/ no traffic). One day we got 30 minutes line to enter in the park so plan ahead. I highly recommend to stay there. We loved our stay and looking forward to the next trip.

Amazing location, friendly staff and clean bunkhouse. We had a mini fridge and a heater which I didn’t know it was included and it was nice. The bunkhouse was very clean and overall amazing experience. On Saturday night there was an event with life music, s’mores and a taco truck, which was very fun.
