Stuff on reception is not very welcoming. But they did a lot for us. And seems that they have a lot on their plate especially with random tourists asking them for directions

Front office staff upon check in was extremely rude and short with us. Don't know if she was having a bad day but she was extremely rude.

We were bummed that the hot tub was not working while we were there. With the chilly temperatures of late March we were looking forward to a long day of hiking and then a soak in the hot tub. But other than that the hotel and rooms were excellent!

Nice clean rooms, great pillows, hot water and great location to Yosemite! They’re also close to Groveland, a cute little town with some restaurants, a brewery and shops. So you It was an easy stay at Westgate!

Check in was very late - 4.30pm and wanted to charge an extra $25 to check into the room even if it was ready.

The 50" TV was nice, but the satellite/direct TV was not working while we were there (satellite signal couldn't be found), so I'd suggest bringing some backup plan to keep yourself entertained at night (Chromecast, board games, laptop with HDMI cable, etc). About the only thing that could really be improved is the WiFi was extremely spotty from building 2. Frequently poor signal and unable to connect, and when it was connected it was painfully slow. I know being out there near Yosemite, you're meant to enjoy nature, but sometimes you just need a little WiFi at night lol. Walking out to the central seating area, the WiFi was much stronger with decent speeds but you'll just have to be cold for a bit. It did manage to work for some short periods of time from the room, but not a totally solid connection.

The Westgate Lodge was a great stay. The rooms were clean, shower was nice and hot, and amenities were good. The location is very quiet, and there is a cute central area where you can sit with friends or if you have kids, play in the small playground they have. The park entrance is not too far away (about 20mins to gate). Microwave and fridge were a nice touch. There is a Keurig coffee maker and you can get as many coffee pods as you like from the main office until they close at 10pm.

Very nice King room with modern furniture and ample cupboard space. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy with a good shower. The hotel was well located very close (15 mins) drive to Yosemite National Park. The Lucky Buck Cafe was handy for dinner. The microwave was handy for ready meals. It was 15 minute drive to Groveland. Hotel Charlotte had a good menu. I would stay at this hotel again.

Rooms had minor things needing fixes (towel hanger not holding, etc). Housekeeping is only on request.

Room was renovated/modern (no carpet). Exteriors were well maintained. Location is excellent for Yosemite NP. The price was reasonable.

The location is very good,near the entrance to Yosemite Park (approximately 15 minutes). Rooms are clean and new (not so old as other hotels have). My kids liked the hotel's playground. We were here 2 years ago and recommend this place for our friends.
