Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I didn't like the open-concept configuration of the bathroom. The light´s sensors were too sensible and the lights turned on constantly. Our room had a connection door and it didn't isolate the sound from the other room, as well as the door to the hall. Luckily, I always sleep with earplugs. The included breakfast is not a typical buffet and the options are limited to a small menu.
Nice staff at the reception. The employee offered us a free early check-in. Large room, and comfortable bed. Great gym and a very nice pool.

The electronic lighting system took a little working out with no instruction material
Did not have breakfast..locstion excellent close to Bayside markets and Cruise port and a number of restaurants .Room was airy,modern and cool

We didn’t like the bed which was a convertible into a couch. It was not comfy to sleep on. The lights in the bedroom were also really difficult to turn on and off.
Location is excellent right beside the Biscayne marketplace and Kaseya arena. Clean place and self service check in.

I didn’t like the valet parking, also i didn’t like how many homeless are on the street it make seems super trashy. I was scared of being outside waiting for my car cause the ppl who was outside Im not trying to sound mean or bougie, the location is good it was just the ppl surrounding the hotel.
The hotel is super nice in the inside and like super modern, the room are nice too.

I was meeting a friend there and couldn’t get to her room because of their keycard system. So you can only go to another floor if you’re with the person who’s on that floor by scanning the keycard. Wonderful for safety, annoying if you just need something from a friend.
Property was modernized. Loved the decor and functionality, being able to check in on a kiosk was great! The pool and jacuzzi were clean and spacious. The bar staff was very nice and the food was pretty good. (Get the citrus salad)

Sink was clogged
Good metro access from Yotel to airport. We were stuck there overnight due to delayed flight to somewhere else, but turned out to be a pleasant night in Miami! Simple hotel but has all you need.

I'm all for technology as long as it's easy to operate or have instructions on how to use, was not a fan of the lighting system in room due to lack of instructions. Shower set up is interesting and nothing I have experienced in the many hotels I have stayed in.
Location as bayside, walgreens and other places to grab food are all within an easy 5-10 minute walk. Hotel is very clean and not dated.

I had continuous delayed flights & I booked a room for a whole day I was not present. I understand no refunds were allowed, given credit would have been nice.

The desk staff at check in were unfriendly and unhelpful. I noticed that they were allowing some guests to have room key and pool access before their check in time while the rest of us were stuck in the lobby. If the policy is to wait until 3pm. It should be uniformly enforced for all guests.
The location of the hotel was great.

It was a bit hectic in the lobby given that there were constantly many people- Perhaps because I was there on a weekend.
I was very impressed by the gym! The amount and quality of the equipment, the cleanliness, all of it surpassed my expectations! My room was clean, I liked the lighting, and overall it was enjoyable!
