There’s not much I can say negative about the experience! Spencers organization and great communication made for a seamless and easy experience from start to finish!

The jeep was wonderful! Easy to drive. The tent was amazing as well! It’s was easy to set up and super comfortable. Everything you need is provided and including a stove and chairs the beaches and snorkels as well! Spencers handbook to camping/ campsites/ places to see was crucial and so well done! Truly an amazing experience all around and feel lucky to have heard about Zazu campers.

The amenities are well thought out, anything you might need for camping is in jeep and ready for you. The tent is also nice and spacious.

Previous guests did not pack tent away carefully and therefore it made it difficult for us to open the first time, but it was fine after that. Not specifically about Zazu but Maui in general: There are not very many places on Maui that allow car camping, you must do your research and book well in advance! Many of the national parks require booking / reservations in advance so be prepared. Very little phone reception in some areas.

Zazu Campers were informative and communicative from the very beginning. We had some trouble booking car camp sites, but Spence was very helpful and always on hand! He provided great recommendations and was always supportive and communicative throughout the trip for anything we may have needed! Pick up was great and right by the airport and drop off was perfectly flexible too! The jeep was smooth and easy to drive, also does well on fuel, the tent was spacious and we had everything we needed.

Great vehicle for driving along the road to Hana, couldn't imagine a better way to make the journey. Included everything you could need (blankets, pillows, plates, cutlery, cups, snorkeling gear, etc), and the size of the tent had plenty of room for a comfortable nights sleep. Vehicle felt slim and gave much needed confidence driving along the extremely narrow roads. Very durable throughout all weather, we experienced heavy downpour some nights and the tent was completely waterproof and warm, and car was perfect on all terrain.

When booking, we booked for 4 people, however we got the jeep with sets only for 2 people. I believe there was some misunderstanding, but the host was kind enough to provide the additional sets when we notified him. So all here was good, no complaints, just make sure that you will have enough sets provided.

The host is friendly and helpful. Communication with them is easy. The jeep is comfortable - perfect way to explore Maui! Keep in mind that beside booking the jeep with the tent you also need to think of booking camping spots. Hosts are sending detailed info about comping sites, but some of them must be booked as early as one month before arrival.

I couldn’t fault the Jeep set up, the only slight worry is that the island is very well set up for camping, there are not a lot of sites and some are very basic. Be sure to book well ahead of your arrival on the island to ensure you have the type of site you’d be happy staying at

The Jeep camper is very easy to drive and the tent easy to erect and pack up, you may have to get up in the roof when pack up, the jeep is well equipped for camping and The host Spence is always on the end of the phone to help with advice and any queries

If there is a lot of wind I recommend earplugs. Also recommend to find campgrounds as soon as you book the car ! It's not the easiest thing to find some if you do it last minute, speaking of experience!

I loved everything about it, the jeep is easy to drive and good for any road, the tent is easy to unload and fold back, the staff is really fast to answer and the car has everything you need, a heater for your food, snorkeling stuff for two people, a cooler,... I definitely recommend it !

Word to the wise... *Only members can use Costco gas stations. *Reserve your parking spot at Black Sand Beach at least one day before to avoid disappointment!

Zazu Campers think of everything. Jeep pickup and dropoff is seamless. Would book again!

The vehicle is very old, several bad aesthetic details and the electronic injection light on, well worn tires and on one of the days the car had fuel injection failures and the tent had many problems: bad zippers among other things.

It's difficult to say, because the product is basically a vehicle rental with camping equipment, the equipment served its purpose, but the vehicle did not.

-Overall Car camping experience. -All amenities included. -Car was in a good condition.
