Large rooms with very comfy futons, it has a lovely traditional feel. I love how close it is to the shops and markets yet it is tucked away where it is nice and quiet. Will remember Hotel Yu-Shu the next time we visit!

It's a very cozy and charming ryokan. It was very enjoyable to sit around drinking tea and listening to the jazz music from the bar. The owner is very nice and knows English well. She was very accommodating and gave great suggestions for local food.

The rooms are very large and had futons that were laid out at night. We opted for the traditional breakfast in the morning, which was fine though not extraordinary. The location is good, on the canal just across the street from a lively area with tons of restaurants and shops.
