The property has mountain and quiet street views, and is 4.6 km from Hakone Open-Air Museum. The accommodation features a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in.

The nearest airport is Oshima Airport, 87 km from the ryokan. We’re from Canada and I brought my Brazilian roomie with me to visit my home country. I truly liked the hot spring and how it’s not a “too touristy” location. We were there in the holiday season but because it’s a hidden jem Ryokan, we were able to have both the “daiyokujo” and “Roten buro” all to ourselves (we did go late at night and early morning). They also have 24h ashiyu (foot hot tub) which was super awesome. I had beer while planning for the next day and just chilled there all by myself for an hr.
