Amazing stay at this ryokan fully furnished , there was an amazing onsen in the room and 3 other onsens to use in the ryokan. The people working here are really welcoming and helpful ! Few things to know : the onsen water keeps flowing during the night which can disturb a little bit the sleep + there is a hill to go to the village but it is managable. Highly recommend for a great time in Kusatsu

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. Beautiful hotel, bedrooms were so comfortable, terrific Onsen, staff were so friendly, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in 😄

The hotel is stunning, and the room we had was amazing .. we stayed in the Japanese West wing. The room contained four different pairs of footwear and so many gadgets, sadly more than we could take advantage of. We dressed in traditional garments for meals and enjoyed the hot spring bath. We could not fault the room, the staff or the quality of the exceptional food experience. Everyone was wonderful.

The nearest airport is Oshima Airport, 87 km from the ryokan. The hotel is in a beautiful location, it's very quiet and the view from my room was stunning. It was easy to reach from the train station (I was travelling without a car), only a short walk of about 10min. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The service really is excellent even if they say that not all of them speak English very well. The room is spacious and has a nice tatami area. The private onsen is small and the room a bit dark but it was still a nice experience. I really enjoyed the open air onsen though. It was my first experience in an onsen and I loved it. Overall I enjoyed my stay here very much. It is a fantastic place to relax and slow down a little.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the ryokan is soundproof and has a hot spring bath. The host is incredibly friendly, even taking the time to plan our sightseeing route for us. The onsen is amazing and private. We loved the experience staying in a typical ryokan, and the host made it that much more enjoyable.

The ryokan style room and private open air bath is exceptional, and the staff hospitality were awesome it's exceed my expectation. Since i'm prefer green tea more than roasted green tea in the morning, they provide me with the green tea in the breakfast menu for my breakfast set, didn't expecting that. Overall, very satisfied with this ryokan, will back for sure.
