Boasting an open-air bath and views of mountain, Onsen Guest House Tsutaya is a recently renovated ryokan situated in Hakone, 6.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. It was more than I expected! Really great common areas, a delightful onsen, set on a quiet street in the beautiful green mountains. Friendly staff! A bakery and convenience stores nearby.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Great private onsens. Really appreciated that the private onsens were open until 12:30am, 1am. Great meals.

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. the hotel facilities were great , the room was huge ; there is free shutteles from the hotel to the train station

Set in Hakone, 8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. Absolutely everything. From room decor to the ambience of the whole resort, all have a luxurious and elegant feel. The staff are super helpful and polite. Breakfast and dinner are amazing. We loved our stay!

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 3.6 km of Kowakudani Station. We’re from Canada and I brought my Brazilian roomie with me to visit my home country. I truly liked the hot spring and how it’s not a “too touristy” location. We were there in the holiday season but because it’s a hidden jem Ryokan, we were able to have both the “daiyokujo” and “Roten buro” all to ourselves (we did go late at night and early morning). They also have 24h ashiyu (foot hot tub) which was super awesome. I had beer while planning for the next day and just chilled there all by myself for an hr.

Providing lake views and a garden, Chuzenji Pension offers accommodation in a prime location in Nikko, within a short distance of Kegon Falls, Chuzenji Lake and Chuzenji Temple. The owner gave us a syperb room with lake view. The meals are so delicious and the staffs are so welcoming.

Set in Hakone, Centurion Hakone Bettei offers 4-star accommodation with private balconies. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The ryokan is up the mountain but they will provide you pick up and drop off service daily. Room is clean, well equipped and upscale. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. I spent 2 nights here. The private open air bath is really nice. Would stay here again if I am in the area.

Boasting a hot tub, Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan is set in Hakone. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 6.2 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Staff is very nice and professional, place clean and very pleasant 😊

Tokijaus centre įsikūrusiame riokane „cyashitsu ryokan asakusa“ įrengti numeriai su oro kondicionieriais, yra baras ir bendra poilsio zona, veikia nemokamas belaidis internetas. Breakfast was one of the best meals we had in Japan. Staff was friendly and was well versed in English and the Onsen on the roof was a really nice experience. 10/10 !
