Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park is a 15-minute drive away. Very traditional. This is a ryoken stya at its most authentic. Staff know where you are at all times and adjust the room based on that Private Onsen is good. Pool I svkod They have boots and stuff for the walk to the monkey park

Most rooms have tatami (woven-straw) flooring with futon bedding. If you want to feel some Japanese culture and nature - this is the right place, and with a stile.

A safe and yukata robes are provided. Really nice and friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms. Generous breakfasts and dinners with daily changing menues - the wagyu meat was especially good! Private spa with finnish sauna, steam bath, onsen water, cold bath, outside area and even a massage seat and included drinks was bookable for a small fee. Free coffee and tea available in the lounge (tea also in the room). Convenient shuttle service to the train station.

Bathroom is shared with other guests. Our short stay was absolutely delightful! The hosts were so kind and welcoming and the ryokan was beautiful inside and out. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful - the perfect place to relax after exploring Togakushi. We had both dinner and breakfast and would highly recommend - some of the most delicious and memorable food of our trip!

Japanese Yukata robes are provided and guests can enjoy views of the river or of the traditional stone-paved streets. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. The accommodation and onsen (for private use) were superb! The owners were very friendly and offered to drive me from/to the Yudanaka train station as well as to/from the Monkey Forest free of charge. The street the onsen is on was very beautiful, close to other onsens (if needed), restaurants and bars, but at the same time, very quiet. I recommend this place very much!

I rented all ski material and lift pass through him, and everything was so easy and efficient. The bedroom is spacious, with adorable traditional decoration and great view, and the bed was also super comfortable. The onsen on the hotel was the cherry on top of the cake, after a ski day. There was also a green slope (suitable to all levels) ending at 3 minutes away from the property, which was very convenient.

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths and wear colorful Japanese Yukata robes. Massages can be requested for an extra cost.

Tawaraya Ryokan is a 10-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park and a 15-minute walk from Heiwa Kannon. Shiga Kogen Ski Resort is a 30-minute drive away. The outside Onsen is just gorgeous! We loved that you can reserve it for private use in the evenings. We highly recommend the traditional Japanese breakfast. Centrally located just below the train station.
