Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. The hotel was the main attraction in town. The hotel is so beautiful in it's traditional architecture. True place of art. The town is great if you are planning to do hikes or other small towns in the region.

Situated 1.5 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. Un hotel molt acollidor, on el personal estava en tot moment molt atent. Per poder disfrutar d'un experiencia amb la tradició japonesa crec que es ideal, per així descobrir la formar en la que vivien o viuen alguns japonesos. Molt recomanable.

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, and 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Situated in Atami in the Shizuoka region with Atami Sun Beach nearby, SOKI ATAMI features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. This place is an absolute dream come true! Every detail was perfection, from the serene surroundings to the fantastic design. Loved strolling around with the provided pyjamas and the private onsen. The dinner was a wonderful culinary experience with top-quality ingredients. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Perfectly located near Atami, it's an ideal retreat. If I could, I'd give it more than 10 stars. Just perfect!

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Toraya is set in Gero, 48 km from Takayama Station and 49 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. EVERYTHING. The dream come true in a ryokan (and affordable). I truly love the private onsen. It was bliss. The room, the yukatas, the ambience, the fact that look like is brand new construction but in a traditional aesthetic. A dream.

Set 9.1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Large place with different corridors which makes it feel a little mysterious. The dining room is very nice with a nice garden view. Food was excellent. Onsen was very good. All in all, nothing unique but a very very good ryokan.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. We felt so welcomed and cared for by Ken. Fresh local flowers in the room, a friendly face and comfortable room in a delightful seaside village. We were kindly dropped back to the train - a lovely experience and memory.

Offering a garden and garden view, Nagataki is located in Nakatsugawa, 13 km from Ōi and 34 km from Japan Taisho Village. The property is allergy-free and is situated 12 km from Enakyo Wonderland. The property has sea and quiet street views, and is 49 km from Mount Daruma.... Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work!
