We had a superior family room and it was exceptional, very spacious 2 rooms with a small corridor and relatively large bathroom. The staff was perfect, very chidren-friendly. The parking is located directly at the back of the hotel: not really big but it was ok for us to park even with our big car. The breakfasts were good. Wifi worked well. Location is good, in a walking distance to Vaticano museums.

Rome, in my view, is a city that effortlessly bridges the past and present, creating a unique and vibrant tapestry of history, culture, and modernity. Walking through its streets feels like a journey through time, where ancient ruins stand proudly alongside bustling cafes and chic boutiques. The city’s rich heritage, seen in iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Pantheon, is a constant reminder of its pivotal role in shaping Western civilization. What I find particularly captivating about Rome is its atmosphere. There’s a palpable sense of grandeur and timelessness that permeates every corner. The city’s architecture, from the majestic St. Peter’s Basilica to the charming cobblestone alleys of Trastevere, reflects a blend of artistic brilliance and historical significance. The grandeur of Vatican City, with its awe-inspiring art and spiritual aura, adds another layer to Rome’s multifaceted identity. The Romans themselves are a testament to the city’s enduring spirit. Their warmth, hospitality, and passion for life are infectious, making every interaction memorable. Whether it’s sharing a meal in a family-run trattoria, engaging in lively conversations in a piazza, or simply enjoying a gelato by the Trevi Fountain, the people of Rome enhance the city’s charm. Culinary delights in Rome are unparalleled. The simple yet exquisite flavors of traditional Roman cuisine, from creamy carbonara to crispy supplì, reflect a deep respect for quality ingredients and time-honored recipes. Every meal feels like a celebration of Italian culture and a homage to the joys of good food.

I like the tours in Rome like the Colosseum tour and the Vatican tour. They are costly but save you time and hassle. Restaurant 34 is a great restaurant. It is easy for me to walk around Rome. I would not recommend the subways in Rome. Pick pocket teams are every where in the subways. It happened right in front of my face. DO NOT use subways in Rome. Take taxi! It costs more but safer. You do not want to loose your passport or wallet while traveling.

I think there are many information on the internet but looking back at my recent journey, my only advice would be to think through what really interests you, because there is more sense in focusing on that than to enter every sightseeing and museum - you can get overwhelmed after awhile, especially if you are not always as lucky as to have a tour guide with you. Entrance tickets shall be bought ahead (look out for reviews if you get any ticket through a third party) - it saves you a lot of time, although they usually have an exact entrance time in this case. Make sure that you definitely have enough time to get from one place to another and be prepared for unforeseen events such as the metro being renovated or trains being on strike... :) Do the research for the local good and affordable restaurants either if you can.

Good thing in Rome is that there is plenty to see and enjoy.

Good thing in Rome is that there is plenty to see and enjoy. The bad thing is that there are no plates (signs) with directions and distance to the closest monuments thus you can be close to them and still miss them. Some tips: If you want to visit something particular like Colloseum, Pantheon, etc., book tickets well in advance. I booked tickets a month ago and did not have much of a choice. A lot of tickets were bought from private companies which sell them with small additional service like "skip the line" or "Download an audio guide" (like in Colloseum) or guide for triple times higher prices. The street salesmen of small gadgets like plastic jewelry, water or scarves can be nasty insisting, as not to say rude. Restaurants: food comes out quite fast, the waiters are very polite and nice. On Sunday evening the metro was closed for renovation work after 9 p.m. When I went to the station and saw its closed entrance, a metro officer instead of explaining in a nice and quiet manner what to do, was yelling at us. The municipality provided buses that followed the metro route and kept the same stops so there was a working solution. Of course it took longer to get to your stop but this is quite normal.

Beautiful city with many monuments, on the other hand it is really dirty city, lot of rubbish around. I can leave with it, but I preferred more cleaned spaces. Restaurants near monuments are expensive and once you sit to table the price of food is raising.

This is my second time in Italy and I always liked to stay close to the central station so the location for this hotel is perfect. The rooms are great, the host left water and other goodies which was such a nice touch! They also have all the facilities you need in the room and they are perfectly clean. But the main point here is the staff. The host was super friendly and went above and beyond to help. I followed all his recommendations and had a perfect experience in Rome. If you travel by train, it is convenient, a bit far from classic tourist monuments, if you have good energy to walk, is not a problem. We walked to go and uber to come back. The area looks scary, a bit too dirty, but you have a lot of tourists going by. We stayed in the hotel when we got to italy and when we left, one night each time. I don't think I would stay in this hotel to really visit rome for several days. For a night is more than ok, next to the train station, the staff is very nice!

The breakfast offerings were great too. The reception staff went out of their way to be supportive and booked our tours for Rome and Florence. Excellent location in the historic center. You can walk to every major monument and plazas (5-15 minutes). Get the breakfast, excellent value for the buffet. If you haven’t been in Italy before, and Europe for that matter, keep in mind that this is the “Old World”: Hotels in the historic centers are old, so don’t expect large rooms with large bathrooms. You get just enough space to get clean and rest. Go out and enjoy Rome!

The hotel is very close to the center of Rome. It was clean and cozy. The most I liked is friendliness and assistance of Luigi, the guy who works in reception. Fantastic location, super friendly staff and the place has a very Italy/Boutique vibe to it. It's small, but so are most hotels in Rome. We've stayed in a few different places in Rome, and this was our favorite. It's also close to Termini without being TOO close, which gets a little grimy.

Quiet, super comfortable, friendly staff, phenomenal pool space, great pizza (okay, maybe not so surprising for Italy) but at a great price at a hotel, will definitely stay again in transit to/from Rome

Breakfast, staff, bed and pillows were excellent. Many hotels in Italy, specifically the beds and pillows, are lacking so they did a great job with this detail.
