We had a superior family room and it was exceptional, very spacious 2 rooms with a small corridor and relatively large bathroom. The staff was perfect, very chidren-friendly. The parking is located directly at the back of the hotel: not really big but it was ok for us to park even with our big car. The breakfasts were good. Wifi worked well. Location is good, in a walking distance to Vaticano museums.

I really like history and historical cities.
Rome has always been the city I wanted to see.
It was a privilege to see it on the occasion of the honeymoon.
Therefore, it has gained more meaning.
It was not enough to see the unique beauties of Rome for 2.5 days. I am planning to make a longer trip to Rome in the future.

We spent five days in Rome and loved it so much that we have decided to return next year. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a small water ...that you can refill at the public water fountains located all over the city. Take your time walking from sight to sight and discover the neighborhoods. We felt safe and took the advise of carrying all valuables in front of us...no backpack. I used a Thule Subterra 2, 5L crossbody bag.
We stayed in the Monti area, steps from the Roman Forum/colosseum and enjoyed delicious pizza at Forno Da Milvio. there are many other food options in this bustling neighborhood. Have fun!

If you are looking for a city full of historic surprises, then Rome is a must. So many places to visit and see, around every corner there is a new place to discover and the cathedrals are plenty and amazing. It is not just the big attractions that makes this such a great city, but the fact that the historic places are everywhere and around you. We are definitely not archaeologic/history family, but everyone was fascinated including 2 teenagers. Rome can be crowded and there are very long queues at the main attractions, but you can see so much from the outside that we didn't go into every place. Food was great everywhere we went and will visit Rome again

Rome is an exceptional city that everyone should visit at least once in their life. There’s so much history and culture. It’s buzzing with life at all times of day or night, especially. To those who love to enjoy the views and feel the main character's energy, it’s the perfect place. Just go wander the tiny streets in Rome, and you’ll find the hidden gems that know no tourists. I’ve met the loveliest, kindest people there; of course, you’ll hear countless beeping from passing by Vespas, especially during rush hours, but that is a part of the charm, and you do get used to it. But honestly, you have to experience it for yourself, and then you’ll understand me when I say it was only my first and definitely not the last trip to Rome.

Rome, in my view, is a city that effortlessly bridges the past and present, creating a unique and vibrant tapestry of history, culture, and modernity. Walking through its streets feels like a journey through time, where ancient ruins stand proudly alongside bustling cafes and chic boutiques. The city’s rich heritage, seen in iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Pantheon, is a constant reminder of its pivotal role in shaping Western civilization.
What I find particularly captivating about Rome is its atmosphere. There’s a palpable sense of grandeur and timelessness that permeates every corner. The city’s architecture, from the majestic St. Peter’s Basilica to the charming cobblestone alleys of Trastevere, reflects a blend of artistic brilliance and historical significance. The grandeur of Vatican City, with its awe-inspiring art and spiritual aura, adds another layer to Rome’s multifaceted identity.
The Romans themselves are a testament to the city’s enduring spirit. Their warmth, hospitality, and passion for life are infectious, making every interaction memorable. Whether it’s sharing a meal in a family-run trattoria, engaging in lively conversations in a piazza, or simply enjoying a gelato by the Trevi Fountain, the people of Rome enhance the city’s charm.
Culinary delights in Rome are unparalleled. The simple yet exquisite flavors of traditional Roman cuisine, from creamy carbonara to crispy supplì, reflect a deep respect for quality ingredients and time-honored recipes. Every meal feels like a celebration of Italian culture and a homage to the joys of good food.
Delicious restaurants within steps from the door. We definitely recommend for a less hectic experience in Rome with quick access to all of the historical sites. The area had a more neighborhood feel to it that was greatly appreciated. The place itself was comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely appointed. In fact, the bed was the most comfortable bed we slept in since our Italy trip started! Guglielmo was easy to communicate with and recommended some really great food options including gelato. I would absolutely recommend a stay!
Residenza Maritti is a marvelous hotel. I have stayed here perhaps 20 times in the last 7 years or so, whilst living in Italy. It is quite simply one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. The location is nothing short of spectacular; the staff and owners very kind and helpful; the rooms full of character and history as well as being spotlessly clean; the rooftop terrace has breathtaking views of ancient Rome. When I come to Rome, I always stay at Residenza Maritti. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the Eternal City from.
This is my second time in Italy and I always liked to stay close to the central station so the location for this hotel is perfect.
The rooms are great, the host left water and other goodies which was such a nice touch! They also have all the facilities you need in the room and they are perfectly clean.
But the main point here is the staff. The host was super friendly and went above and beyond to help. I followed all his recommendations and had a perfect experience in Rome.
I would definitely recommend this place!
My recent visit to the Albergo del Senato was a repeat visit but for only one night layover as I was traveling south in Italy and it reinforced just what a wonderful small hotel Albergo del Senato really is and with an exceptional staff. My room was very reasonably priced and faced the piazza in front of the building with the Pantheon to the side and restaurants galore. Also, the breakfast was delicious. I can't think of any other hotel that I'd rather stay in Rome and I look forward to my next stay.
Beautiful spacious room, so nice to come back to the room after spending the day exploring the city. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us ideas what to do, transport to take etc. The breakfast was excellent! With staff clearing your plate and cutlery and giving you new ones after each helping.
Also the hotel is just minutes away from Rome Termini so it is easy to go take a bus or train to everywhere that you want to visit in Rome and Italy!
1. Wonderful-wonderful-wonderful hotel! Anna is a very nice host! And a wonderful person!) I was in Rome for the first time and felt a little lost, but Anna's warm welcome made me feel at home and fall in love with Italy! The room was very clean, the room itself is large, bright and comfortable! Getting to the center is very convenient and fast! I will advise Anna's hotel to everyone and if I myself come to Rome again, I will only go to her! Thanks for the wonderful memories of Rome!
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I had chosen a room in the annex as I wanted to sleep in a quiet place without too much people going in and out. The room was great and silent, even if it was over the busstation in Piazza Indipendenza, the windows are so thick that you can't hear the noise. And I loved the view of the piazza. The reception was nice and the breakfast is one of the best that I have had in Italy, so you shouldn't miss it. I had love to come back here :)
There was heavy rain in Milan area from.Oct 31 to couple of days, which left public transportation on halt, and road and street flood, but this hotel uncooperative on refunding my money that I had paid in advanced. Plus on top of that this hotel isn't providing any other option for customers. Once everything is on halted in milan italy then what my family and I would do, we cannot able travel any other places, which this hotel has hard time understanding,
Excellent location in the historic center. You can walk to every major monument and plazas (5-15 minutes). Get the breakfast, excellent value for the buffet. If you haven’t been in Italy before, and Europe for that matter, keep in mind that this is the “Old World”: Hotels in the historic centers are old, so don’t expect large rooms with large bathrooms. You get just enough space to get clean and rest. Go out and enjoy Rome!
Apartment is located in quite nice and quiet area. Modern district which is not so typical for the old cities in Italy. Plenty of space and there is a space for a car if you travel by car. There is a small park nearby and very comfortable distances to EUR, old Rome, Shopping Malls. You may find several restaurants, shops and bars nearby. The location is quite good if you travel by car. Wifi speed if perfect. Really fast.
The very best breakfast i have had in Italy, over the past 7 years of travelling around Italy. The hotel is a very well kept building and has a modern feel to it. The staff are all very helpful and especially the bar tender, who also oversees the dining area - Thank you. The location is not in the center of Rome and its a short bus ride to the nearest Metro station - but the busses & Metro are frequent and easy to use.
Small boutique hotel, very clean and nicely decorated with everything needed for a great weekend in Rome. The location is good and it was difficult to find a thing we didn't like. Maybe only the bed can be a bit better (a bit short for very high people).
The owner, Staffano, is absolutely the best! So nice and helpful, really cares and gives a feeling of home.
We loved the apertivo offered each day before dinner! This was our first stay while in Italy, so we were a little spoiled with this spread. The hotel was in a great location and walking distance to everything we wanted to see (Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, etc.).
Beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of Rome. Excellent modern facilities, well appointed rooms and large bathrooms which is a rarity in Italy! Excellent location for sightseeing and also a shopping destination too. I highly recommend the hotel.
It’s what you expect from Rome, Italy! I loved the location, the corner florist, full of many restaurants and close to all the points of attraction in Rome, charming and romantic with a dreamy bohemian air. I would stay there every time I went to Rome.
this is the best hotel we stayed in Italy. it is new, but everything is perfect: rooms are big and stylish, staff is very helpful, the hotel is perfect in all details. and it is located in the best part of Rome!
will definitely stay here again.
Hotel Cellini embraces the charm of the old city of Rome to perfection. Laura from reception and the entire staff were wonderful. We ended our Italy adventure with a perfect room, a perfect location and with no stress. Thank you Hotel Cellini.
The breakfast was better than all hotels we stayed in Italy. I had fractured my ankle in Florence before arriving to Rome. I was wheelchair bound and The staff was so accommodating and friendly.
The warmth of the staff was exceptional.
The location of the hotel just could not be better for those wanting to be at the centre of Rome, Italy and the Universe.
