The location was excellent. Hotel is one block off of the beach as well as in old town. The open market, as well as many other landmarks were very close by. There was a restaurant bar and lounge chairs across from the hotel, which could be reserved at the front desk of the hotel. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The room was fine…typical of hotels in old buildings. I recommend this hotel.

The city and overall French Riviera is one of a diamond in earth. The culture itself with its mediterrenian touches give you chance to breath and feel excitement for the moment you live. Nice is very clean, organised and beautiful with nature. The culinary seems fine apperantly but I believe deserves better service and variety. Very kind people.
Wish to live someday for longer in Nice and era.

I absolutely loved Nice.
I absolutely loved Nice. We were right near the beach, the train station, the tram and all the restaurants and nightlife.
It's the sort of city that suits me: it straddles the perfect balance between being a working town and a tourist destination. Yet, it's very relaxed with a lovely vibe to it and, in our experience, lots of very welcoming natives.
It's the sort of place that accommodates a wide variety of tastes too. The beach front has enough to entertain those who love a beach holiday (young and old). It's also a great destination and central spot for those who like a stroll by the sea, but who also want to explore small medieval villages and other towns e.g. like Monte-Carlo and Cannes.

Nice is beautiful with a range of places to see.
Nice is beautiful with a range of places to see. From the promenades to the old town there is a lot to see. The highlight for us was the climb up castle hill and the views. Nice is very accessible with a range of bus trams and taxis to get around. However the trams and trains are crowded and ticketing is best done online for the trains and pre- purchased for the trams.
Restaurants are crowded and expensive. French people are reserved and formal even when you are a communicator with strong French.

Nice surprised me, there was so much to see and do.
Nice surprised me, there was so much to see and do. Also the location made other cities accessible so we nipped to Monaco and Cannes by train. Will definitely return but I will book a more central apartment. Ubers were so readily available and the trains were quick and reliable used train line to book on the go. Although the tickets never scanned on the barriers it didn’t matter we still got through. The waterfall looked amazing so might be worth the trek we just admired it from the bars.

Central to visit other areas by train at minimal costs and excellent service. i.e. trains to Monaco or Cannes every 30 minutes - 20 euros for 4 adults one way. Be aware the trains are full to capacity and can be a tight squeeze, but only for 30 mins journey.
Nice is a fantastic city, well worth the visit.
Old town Nice has many eating places and reasonable prices, Majority are Italian based eateries.
Open Top bus tour a necessity as it takes in other areas outwith central Nice.

Nice is a great city.
Nice is a great city. The Food is delicious, it is easy to walk everywhere. You can take a train and see Monaco city, it only takes 20 mins. It is a stony beach, if you want to swim in the sea you should take beach shoes.
I appreciated the warm welcome by the hostess and that she spoke perfect English. Also there is secure private parking. The room was large and divided into a seating lounge area and a bedroom. The property itself is beautiful with gardens and outdoor seating areas. The breakfast was fantastic and probably the best so far on my trip to France. Everything was beautifully appointed. The hostess even helped me carry my suitcase to the room which doesn't happen very often and was much appreciated at my age.
The rooms were clean and very comfortable, we had a room with a balcony which was lovely to sit out on and watch the world go by. The staff are amazing and very helpful. Esther and Hannah on reception are a credit to this hotel, their customer service, friendliness and proffessionalism were outstanding, even better than any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in.
The location excellent, in city, 10 minute walk down to beach and Nice old town and 5 minutes walk to station.
The hotel location is excellent with easy access to the port, old town and the promenade. Lots of lovely bars, cafes and restaurants to choos from. Two restaurants we enjoyed were Peixes Opéra and Comptoir du Marche (in fact we went there twice it was so nice). Daniel the host is an excellent asset to the hotel, always cheerful, friendly and a great source of information about the locality.
We had a nice stay at Hotel Villa Rivolli! It is a very quaint hotel in an excellent location. The staff was nice and accommodating. It’s close enough to walk to the promenade and old town. It is also very convenient for getting to transportation to visit other locations like Monaco, and Ezz. We enjoyed the breakfast outside in the pretty patio area. We thought it was worth the money.
The location was great! The best place to stay if you plan to travel to cities nearby such as: Monte Carlo or Cannes. Only 200 m from the train station.
The hotel is also very close to the Alsace-Lorraine station (if you land @Nice Airport). Walking distance to get to the old town of Nice.
The twin room was clean, spacious enough for one or two people, with a nice bathroom inside.
Very nice hotel. 5minutes from the tram, whick goes directly to city center, 12minutes from local train station. The receptionist speaks english, amazing change in France, she gave us map, showed us all points and explained. Amazing service from her. The breakfast was really good. A lot of things to choose. There is a parking lot for very good price at the hotel.
It is one of the best places I stayed in France. It's really in the heart of the city, train station, tram lines are on walking distance.
The hostel is beautiful, clean. Staff is nicer n helpful.
Bar, kitchenette is available. They have happy hour 6-8 pm ( haven't used it but it's mentioned) .
Rooms, bathrooms r clean. In short they maintain standard. I liked it. :)
The hotel Windsor is as close to a perfect hotel as I have ever known. It is small, beautiful, comfortable, with a delightful lobby lounge and an even more delightful garden where breakfast and dinner are served. The food is some of the best I have eaten in France. Whenever you travel to Nice, be sure to stay at the hotel Le Windsor!!
The last day in Nice I stayed here. In fact I have booked three different hotels in Nice . Definitely Arome is the one that satisfied me best. It's quieter and more comfortable than the first one and much cheaper than the second one with very nice staffs. If I go to Nice again I will choose here without doubt .
I loved the staff at the hotel. Everyone was so kind and so helpful. It felt like home. The hotel itself is so beautiful and charming. I wanted to feeeeel like I was in France, not in some chain hotel that I can stay at anywhere. The location is incredible too. It’s right in the heart of Nice.
This hotel was very spacious, bright and clean. It was right next to Old Town, which is perfect for going out at night, and right on the beach. The suites were comfy with a beautiful view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool temperate was absolutely incredible
Location of the hotel is great in the very center of Nice. The breakfast is OK - nice for France, but not excellent for 4* hotel. Bathroom and room are spacious, the bed is comfortable. Tram and bus are 7-9 min by walk from the hotel
Sylvie is very attentive and was very helpful before and during out stay. The place is small and not super close to main attractions, but is a very good deal in this part of France, plus you can do and find some stuff by foot.
Location was nice near to old town, also not very far away from Nice city center which was around 1•5 km from hotel ' we were taking uber cost was around 8 to 10 euro also public transport was very convinent and cheap.
I was very pleased with my choice . Everybody in my Nice family was very impressed. The location. The shopping the close beach the very near parking garage. If I come back I would try to come back to 79 rue de France.
Fabulous location overlooking Nice promenade/beach. Close to old town. Large terrace included with room.
Hotel recently renovated. Beautiful dining courtyard with pool area, Very effecicient staff.
Very cosy friendly family run hotel close to the old town and palais des expositions which was where I needed to be. Nicely decorated good value for money.
I could not believe such hotel exists in Nice ( France)
Room which I paid €200 was very very smelly. I am very very disappointed and the corridor smells
