Paris is gorgeous with many interesting neighborhoods each with their own vibe. It is also huge and bustling and very confusing at times as most streets run on a diagonal making getting lost a lot pretty much part of your day. I have realized unless I am keeping an appointment it's best to just explore the area you've find yourself lost in! for sure you will find things that catch your eye. If you love museums Paris has dozens. My favorites are Quai Brainley near the Eiffel Tower.which is dedicated to cultures of Africa,Oceania and Latin America and seldom has long entrance lines. Carnavalet in the Marais area concerns Paris history, is free and the exhibits fascinating many period rooms on display. I prefer D'Orsay to the LOUVRE it's more bitesized but often long lines. don't miss the mini version of the Opera House. musee f arts decoratif also great if you are interested in fashion and decor. learn how to ride the metro and buses and explore.

I like the atmosphere, the buildings, the terraces, thd french balconies. The Metro is sublime, hop on hop off doesn't add much convenience-wise, only high costs. The hop on- ticketing however is the only plus in comparison with the complexe Navigo-card system. Paris is very popular ant that comes with a price. You have to book a lof of tours or admission tickets (to museums etc.) in advance. At least more than 2 months before you go. Even on the first sunday of the month, where museums are free of charge, you have to GET a ticket 2 months prior to your visit. Be aware, I was not ☹. So that makes Paris one of my least spontaneous, but nonetheless beautiful destinations in the world. If you go from Europe, go by train. That's so relaxing, single or with family.

We visited all the famous cafes and went to three exhibitions. We got used to the metro system and quite easily navigated our way around Paris. We had a drink at Les deux magots, a meal at le Protocole restaurant which was very expensive but good. The decor and historical background there was the best thing about it. We liked the cycling but one had to be very careful crossing the roads as cyclists come from different directions.

It is essential to book the Louvre well in advance.

It is essential to book the Louvre well in advance. In fact book every museum well ahead to avoid the massive queues. Go to Montmartre in the morning as we found the afternoon was very crowded and warm ; it was impossible to get near the Sacre Coeur. We thought the wine in even the local restaurants was overpriced.

A simple walk is enough to enjoy your time in Paris.

A simple walk is enough to enjoy your time in Paris. However, it has become very expensive. Two simple or short coffees and a small bottle of water cost an average of 15 euros. 10 euros a pint for the cheapest lager beer. (House wine can be a bit cheaper.) It's hard to find a very modest breakfast for less than 10 euros, or a modest dinner for less than 30 euros, if you like to sit at a table to eat. There are very few public toilets, so you have to go to a bar to solve the problem, which makes your stay expensive, even if you don't spend money on tickets to special attractions. Unless you live in another very expensive city, supermarkets will also seem expensive. Tickets bought inside a bus sometimes do not allow continuing the trip with metro. And don't even think about not paying for tickets to avoid queues if you don't like getting up very early in the morning and waiting several hours to get in. In any case, the city is superlatively beautiful, in any sense of the word, and there is so much to admire.

For such a central location, I think the price we paid was worth it. There were much cheaper options outside the city centre but we thought the convenience of being in such a central and lively part of town was worth it. The room was small as is in every typical hotel room in Paris. But it was clean, had comfy beds, a nice window and view and airconditioning, which we needed the most when we went in the summer. They also have free luggage storage and breakfast for an additional fee (restaurant was at the ground floor).

Hotel was beautifully presented and in such a good location. Montmarte is definitely the place to stay in Paris. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were such good value for money compared to other hotels in Paris. Really good bars, restaurants and cafes as soon as you walk out of the hotel. We managed to walk to most of the attractions but the metro is the best and cheapest way once you get sick of walking. Will definitely be coming back here on our next visit to Paris!

The hotel is situated in a very good location 3 minutes from ternes metro station,Charles de Gaulle–Étoile metro station,Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. The staff was very nice and helpful with every need. The room was good, it had a large bed and a big shower. Travelled to Paris for two nights with my teenage daughter. The apartment was so much more than we expected. We were in Apartment 32 which was a loft style. The apartment itself was absolutely outstanding. So many thoughtful extras, luxurious bedding and towels - we felt like we were staying in a Five star hotel. There’s an amazing boulangarie just around the corner that sells the best croissant and baguettes we’ve ever tasted. (71 Rue des Archives, 75003 Paris, France)

The location was good. It's close to two train stations - one is great to travel from the airport to Paris and is located around 16min from the hotel, another one is great to travel to different cities in France (located around 7min from the hotel). It's only 30 minutes walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, Sacré Cœur, and other beautiful sightseeing places in Paris. The staff at the reception is kind and welcoming. I expected it to be a bit rubbish, to be honest, because it's a cheap hotel that we booked at very short notice. Actually, it's got charm. It's clean, the staff are nice, and when you're leaning out of your window over the tiny balcony, four floors up a slightly wonky staircase, looking out onto the mansard roofs and tall windows of the courtyard and listening to the muffled bustle of the rue de St Antoine - you know you could be nowhere else but Paris.

Basically the only redeeming quality of this place was its location, a convenient 7-minute walk away from the Paris Convention Center where we were attending a conference. The breakfast was also decent for Paris/France standards.

good location to see different parts of paris further out of the city centre. nice choice of restaurants near by would recommend Thai Kok. Hotel is quite basic but good for value for money as a cheaper option staying in Paris.

Places was super clean and we felt decently safe! not the location you would think of staying in paris but super close to bus stops, metro, trains ect! Quiet at night and classic france during the day!
