History, politics, art, walking around in Paris makes one understand how Surrealism was born here. Just bat an eye when you're confronted with the influencers, allow yourself to get lost in this city, it's truly marvelous - even after 4 trips, there's still new things to discover!

Excellent, but we are elderly and found the steps in the Metro too much…..however, this made us explore the buses which use Metro tickets and ( using our laptop to look up routes ) got us around. It’s cheaper to get your Metro tickets before you get to Paris if you can ) We’d recommend Paris for all the points listed below….which is too much, so plan what you want first. The museums are very crowdeed

This was the most recent of several trips to Paris over the years. Paris is everything you want from a capital city, it offers magnificent affordable restaurants, great sightseeing, easy to use public transport and great entertainment and of course shopping. However, beware some restaurants are already 'cashing in' on the forthcoming Olympic Games pushing for large tips 20%+ whilst offering very mediocre service.

I know Paris since 50 years ago. I studied there and lived. Many things remain same and other different. Now with Olympic Games there is some kind of mess. Some beautiful places such as Trocadero towards Eiffel tower and Place de la Concord are spoiled of provisory constructions probably for some kind of Olympic events.

Paris should be visited several times, every time with a clear itinerary. It has so much to offer that a "Paris overdose" could be overwhelming. Whenever possible, get a guided tour. The city is big and when looking on the map, keep in mind that walking from A to B might actually be a long distance. The hop on-hop off bus would be a great thing to do. A river cruise is always nice.

I enjoyed the Musee L'Orangerie which is near the Louvre in the gardens of Tuileries where there are also cafes where you can eat outside. The metro was a bit of a challenge working out which type of travel tickets to buy. In the end we chose the T+ tickets where you can buy 9 at a time (or any number up to 9). There were some ticket barriers which didn't like the tickets but on the whole it worked. Food wasn't as expensive as I'd anticipated, and especially good value on the Eurostar. The Louvre was good but I'd say plan what you want to see before you go because it is absolutely huge and hard to navigate round. We tried the audioguide but don't recommend it, it's too complicated. I enjoyed the Jardin Plantes cos there was some plant history and unusual crop plants being grown there.

Beautiful boutique hotel located next to the St Severin Catholic Church in a leafy street within the Latin Quarter. The rooms were wonderful - the nicest rooms we’ve ever had in Paris. Beautiful big sunny rooms with windows that open or air conditioning, whichever you prefer. Super comfortable beds and everything spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast, includes bacon and eggs in addition to what you’d normally expect for breakfast in France. 5 minutes walk to the left bank of the Seine, 10 minutes to Notre Dame and Isle St Louis.

Cheap hotel if visiting Paris on a low budget. The location is perfect and close to many restaurants, a metro stop, and bus stations which was perfect for exploring Paris. The room was very small but it was expected. I can't review the breakfast as it wasn't included in our room, but it didn't look too bad. We chose to eat at the nearby restaurants which could become pricey if doing it every morning. Overall, the hotel was perfect for our stay and they even stored our luggage after checking out free of charge.

Great location. Extremely clean rooms, bathroom was a bit small but that is not a problem especially because it's Paris. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels bedsheets everything. Lovely lobby area in the hotel. Breakfast was good, just the usual pastries bread cereal but cheaper than going to a cafe! 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and easy access every other major attraction by the metro stations near by. Nice area too with lots of nice restaurants and cafes. Had a really good stay here.

The staff were lovely and attentive. Though the room was a typical size for France, the space is well designed to feel more spacious. The decor was elegant and more beautiful than the photos convey. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed walking to the museums, the Seine, while passing by the top fashion houses, famous bars and hotels along the way. The Metro stop is literally at the corner and was so convenient and also a good experience. Nearby restaurants were great. A perfect place!

Travelled to Paris for two nights with my teenage daughter. The apartment was so much more than we expected. We were in Apartment 32 which was a loft style. The apartment itself was absolutely outstanding. So many thoughtful extras, luxurious bedding and towels - we felt like we were staying in a Five star hotel. There’s an amazing boulangarie just around the corner that sells the best croissant and baguettes we’ve ever tasted. (71 Rue des Archives, 75003 Paris, France)

The room was comfortable. Not huge, but this is Paris. One side of the closet didn't fully open (door hit the bed) which was inconvenient to put away my suitcase, but manageable. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast in a nice room in the basement had far more options than I expected to find in France, and very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to Montmartre and very close to multiple public transport options. Good restaurants nearby, too.

This was the great sized apartment for our family of 3. Staff were really helpful. The bathroom was a good size, bigger than we expected. The kitchen was small but had most things, no toaster as your in France 🤣. Also we had no oven but had a microwave. The location was okay, very close to a railway station and lots of trains through the day but not through the night which is good. Wasn't to bad to get around into Paris and out to Disney Land.

Great location, 10 mins walk to the tower and over the road from the Duplex metro which was a doddle to navigate and use. Small but clean hotel with very polite and helpful staff. I’ve travelled a fair bit and this place tucked all the box’s for a relatively cheap visit to France. We didn’t have breakfast there as there’s to many places to eat especially local bakeries . Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location to sit on balcony and watch people going about their lives. The host Paul was fantastic and always accessible. I think it must be a france thing because the hotel we are staying at now in the South of France does not have a sheet under the quilt. The top sheet keeps the bed cool and the quilt clean. Rose

Perfectly situated between Marais and the 11th. Large, clean rooms with balcony and all amenities. One of the best (cheap) hotels I ever stayed in in Paris.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioners!!! So many hotels in France do not have them, and they made our stay in Paris in the summer MUCH nicer.
