Transportation options are excellent. Once you get adjusted to the thousands of bicycles everywhere and the hazards of the bike lanes it is easy to get around. You will never regret visiting Amsterdam! It truly is Fairytale Land, Bridges, canals and gingerbread houses, it is so beautiful and quaint filled with Character, And the Dutch are so nice! Stay on the Vita Nova, It’s a great boat for the price and a great location in city center of Amsterdam

dirty city, rude and insolent people, lots of marijuana-tanned and drunk youth, a lot of garbage on the streets and a lot of homeless people collecting cans and plastic bottles, lots of old buildings perfect for sightseeing but only for retirees and the elderly, there is nothing interesting in Amsterdam, the central station and Schiphol airport are also terribly dirty and littered! I do not recommend traveling to Amsterdam, it is better to go to The Hague by the sea, where it is very clean, there is a beautiful central station, the sea, new buildings and nice people!

The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank House are all a must visit. At this time of year you do need to book on line in advance, as there were no tickets available on the day. A Canal cruise gives you the history and a perspective of the Canal system. For a bit of fun the Diamond Museum and The House of Bols are worth a visit, especially the latter. We ate around the hotel, easy walking distance and good food. We walked everywhere. Avoid taxis they are a rip off.Robinson - 10Scored 10

First stay in Amsterdam, location is perfect, can jump on 397 bus to the city centre at only €2.50 euro each. Can also jump on tram 6 to take you the same way. We used google maps and it took us to the tramp and bus stops very easy. Beds are exceptionally comfy and clean. Staff were excellent and we had new towels and beds made every day whilst we were out. We booked 4 rooms, two of which were next to each other as we'd requested. All four rooms were comfy and clean. The location is a short tram or metro trip into the city centre and quick and easy to reach from the airport. Would definitely stay again - thank you!
