Wow what can I say about this fantastic boutique hotel?! It was so wonderfully located, amazing customer service from bar, breakfast and front desk. Room was immaculate. Normal small per European standards but adequate for a few days. Great they had an elevator as well had luggage. Strong water pressure. We had an interior room but still had a nice view of the busy street. Enjoy this place!

Built on seven hills facing the Tagus River, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It showcases unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: Belem's famous monuments; Alfama's labyrinth of streets, bars and small shops; and trendy Alcantara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in Baixa.
Enjoy a walk through Jardim Botanico, admire the architecture of the Jeronimos Monastery or explore the Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese cuisine. No meal is complete without the famous pasteis de nata!

Lisbon is a good city to visit with a lot of things to see.
Lisbon is a good city to visit with a lot of things to see. The pavements were rather grubby and often a bit smelly, and I dread to think what ended up on the soles of my trainers. The machines to buy tickets for the metro occasionally took my money but I didn't get a ticket. Therefore only buy one ticket at a time.
I went in the first week of June and the temperature was 30-34 degrees centigrade, which was too warm for me. If I return to Lisbon, I would go between October and March.

Α destination with a special character, representative of an important culture in Europe. People warm and helpful. The food quite good. Transportation is satisfactory. Beautiful squares and plenty of greenery. For those who run, several routes both easy by the river and quite difficult with uphill demanding courses.

Lisbon was great for our first visit.
Lisbon was great for our first visit. It is hilly though so not great for wheelchairs or walkers with difficulties. Lots of great restaurants and transport links are great. Went to Sintra one day which is beautiful and worth a visit. We also visited the Benfica football stadium and did the museum and stadium tour - brilliant and well produced. Came in an Uber £9

Lisboa isn't the same anymore.
Lisboa isn't the same anymore. It has full of expats so everything is expensive as Barcelona, Paris, etc...The city is still underdeveloped but yet the prices are too high. I miss the old Lisboa

Such a great city.
Such a great city. A week is definitely enough to see a lot, both daytime and nighttime (no matter the day of the week). You could stay longer to see even more. It offers enough heritage for history buffs, night life for the night owls, food for the foodies; there's something for everything. And though it would be classed a city break, getting to the beaches are super easy with public transport or with a taxi.
The location was probably the best part of this hotel. The Rossio Plaza Hotel is adjacent to the main plaza, which was also very crowded ( the most crowded area in Lisbon), but there was no shortage of restaurants, and it was close to some attractions such as the cathedral. The staff was generally accommodating and helped us with our luggage on the way in and out. I enjoyed the view of Rossio Plaza from our room window. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because they did not open until 8 am, and we had to get an earlier start.
Even better than the photos. Super spacious, great light and air flow, private and very quiet. Walk to all the sights , no need to use a taxi nor metro. Restaurants, cafes, grocery is nearby. I could have spent 60 nights in this apartment. It's equivalent to a 5 star hotel. Outdoor space is private. High ceilings , beautiful , solid quality furnishings , tastefully decorated. Kitchen has everything you need plus a Nespresso machine. I didn't cook because the restaurant food in Lisbon is delicious.
Everything… From being picked up from the airport in a Tesla (pipedream to own one of these) to the fantastic service we received by every person along the way cannot recommend this place enough. They even went above and beyond when we thought Lisbon was about to be locked down due to covid (it ended up being fine). The place itself is fantastic and the food is great too. Highly recommend the breakfast. My partner and I travel a lot and this is one of the best 4 star hotels we have ever stayed in.
The best location in Lisbon! The tours were in front of the hotel on the Square. The famous pastry shop ( Fábrica de nata was next to hotel). Ana was the epitome of customer service! She booked us a walking tour on the spot & was very cordial. Complimentary port wine, rose and fresh fruit juice drinks & pasteis ! Also, the cooler was stocked with drinks all free! You can't beat this deal anywhere in Lisbon! Thank you Blue Liberdade Hotel for your warmest welcome!
Great location, just outside the city centre, a few metro stops away from the main tourist hub of Lisbon. Hotel itself is 200m from the metro entrance at Saldanha which connects directly to the airport. Range of local
restaurants and bars serving good food at extremely competitive prices on the doorstep. Exceptionally clean throughout, bed linen and towels changed each day. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a range of options and would suit most tastes.
The staff are amazing, especially Martini, who goes out of his way to make every guest feel welcome and special. The position is unbeatable and should get 11/10. It's right in the very best heart of Lisbon. You are also just a few meters away from the Metro Restadoudoris. Take the metro from the airport 1.50€.. Don't come expecting a 5* hotel, but rather a boutique hostel with a 5* vibe. Highly recommended.
Very impressive accommodations and facilities. The beds, the room decor, the room arrangements, the bathrooms, it felt like I was staying at a really fancy AirBnB. The bathrooms are similar to what you’d get in some 5 star hotels, white, new, maintained, clean and in pristine condition. Definitely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are amazing too, and the location is perfect.
The hotel is clean, nice and easily accessible by public transport (one subway line from the airport and another line to the city centre). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and I would recommend this place for a couple of nights as you visit Lisbon. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on that.
Super nice and helpful team. Changed my room as I asked and I was allowed to checkout later what was very convenient.
As I know, breakfast is not often option in Lisbon’s hotels. In Hotel Capital breakfast was rich enough 👍
And the best is location! 30 minutes away from the Airport (by bus or metro) and city center (by foot).
Great location ,So comfortable.clean and lovely
Everything was exceptional, the staff so friendly and helpful , food and service ,, they take care of you
I would definitely come back again
Special thanks to Elisa , she helped me a lot with great personality and high level of communication
The best hotel in Lisbon 🙏
The young lady who checked me in was lovely and friendly. The shower in the small bathroom was excellent and very modern. The breakfast was okay. The area around the hotel is a working class area with some good, cheap restaurants and has a more realistic feel to Lisbon than the City Centre.
The staff were very helpful as I had injured my leg and couldn’t walk properly. They gave me ice and a dish to put in ankle.
The omelettes for breakfast were 5 star hotel quality. The best omelettes cooked with a fantastic smile by our Colombian chef. Such a great cook.
Fantastic luxury hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. And the breakfast was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The hotel is not in the center of Lisbon but there’s public transportation that’s very easy to use right nearby so this was not a big deal.
Good for a quick stop and sleep before the flight. Close to the airport and Lisbon city centre. Bed was comfy and the room was quite spacious. Internet was among the best hotel internets I have ever seen, 200+ Mbit/s.
location , surrounded by boutique shops ,20 minutes walk to Torreira Beach.
The staff , Andre and Iris Goncalves are wonderful ! And Carlos Harranita served us the best breakfast ever. It was a 5 stars experience 👋
I loved my stay here, hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in 😍 I had the best time in portugal thanks to the hotel and its staff!!
if I could give it 30 stars I would.
best place to stay at in Lisbon.
This is a luxury hotel - and directly across from the lisbon airport, it cannot be beat. They offered pre-checkin and everything was seamless, even allow for early checkin and more. What a treat!
Great location. Netflix available so I could unwind before bed. Linens were wonderful. I’m currently staying at a 5 star hotel here in Lisbon and the linens and mattress is nowhere near as good.
During past years I have stayed in many hotels in Lisbon including 5 star, and this one is the best for me. Great location, very modern and clean, reasonable price. Coming back in a few days)
