We booked this room almost 1 year ago, when we arrived we had separate bookings and request to be in the same floor, the staff in the checkin desk did all they could to help us in a time the hotel was fully booked. The room was very big, we could work from the room apart from organizing our stuff. The rooftop bar has an incredible view. The location is perfect, close to main attractions and to the metro.

Location short Uber to the square. We used concierge to tell us where to go. Ordered UBER to furthest location and worked our way to all sights. Great day. Great city. Enjoyed the day and came back to hot tub and glass of wine.

The room was charming—small, but average for Europe. Double dormers provided lots of light and air. The bed was big and comfy—firm, but not hard. The bathroom was well appointed and spacious for the room size.
The staff were all very helpful, professional and welcoming.
The real highlights were the location and the lobby. Browns sits on a small plaza just steps away from the Rua Augusta. Perfect for a walk in any direction and central to pretty much everything we wanted to see.
The lobby lounge was a quiet oasis with lots of big comfy chairs in which to sit and enjoy a libation.
Breakfast was quite generous and served in a large, open room with lots of natural light.

We liked Lisbon a lot
a very nice new and old city

a very nice new and old city
very good transportation
lots of restaurants serving brunch, worth a try
if you don't go inside the different museums and attractions the you won’t need the Lisboa tourist card, just get a card for the public transportation (much cheaper)

A day pass is a good idea to avoid the hassle of topping up your credit on your pre-paid card and to keep your wallet in good shape.
Lisbon's Calouste Gulbenkian Museum is hugely overrated. I wouldn't do it again. A Fado night is a must, on the other hand. We also took part in a free walking tour which wasn't really free (five euros minimum had to be paid which you were told at the beginning) but nevertheless very informative. The hype about Sintra is not justified. Yes, the palace, for example, is unusual in its color palette but the paint is peeling off and you are supposed to do the tour within a rather short time frame. The time slot you get is tight and okay for the kind of Emperoress Sissi palaces in Vienna but not in a little town like Sintra. It is, however, nicely settled among lush vegetation which makes that part of Portugal truly a gem.
In a nutshell, Lisbon is worth a visit but avoid the touristy attractions that are both expensive and somewhat disappointing when you have been to other beautiful places around the world. We have also met a number of locals in Lisbon and they have all been very friendly.

lisbon is a great place to visit and has a great selection...
lisbon is a great place to visit and has a great selection of things to see and do.the river trips seemed very over priced given the geography of the city, otherwise a very reasonable tourist destination.that said i did get a slight feeling that the locals resent tourists seeing us as rich while they see themselves as poor.i did experience over charging in a taxi and on another occasion in a restaurant.as an overview the city felt safe and certainly no one bothered me day or night.

I'm visiting Lisbon for 6th year and I never had enouth.
I'm visiting Lisbon for 6th year and I never had enouth.
There's something for everyone; cultural visitors, bars and restaurant enthusiasts, party fans or just simply go with your flow, get lost in the town, eat their local food & drinks, maybe to hop on salesboat and enjoy the sunset, hop on the ferry on the other side of the cannal and enjoy in 40 kilometers long sandy beach; ocean, waves, sun and sand..
From sensible Fado to something more club modern:
When you come to Lisbon, you want to come back.
For me, their simple "Obrigado" or "Thank you" is something I enjoy the most.
This hotel is an experience which defeats all competition in its price range, and even above, and all airbnb's in a city. Since prices of housing are really high in Lisbon, this was not a cheap stay. But if you have to spend this amount of money, no other option makes more sense. Great location (in between 2 metro stops, 30 minutes from airport, 10 minutes from the coast); great staff, very helpful, kind; good room cleaning; breakfast is not really quality, but the bakery and sweets are good. Bed was huge, pillows were good. WiFi 6.
Great location, away from the noise and tight alleys. The hotel is situated at the train station (no noise) which is quite convenient if you’re looking to access the metro or do any day trips from lisbon. Convenience store right inside the train station.
Super clean and nicely furnished rooms with fresh towels and toiletries, looks newly renovated. Most importantly for us Arabs, there’s a hose (bidet/ شطاف) :)
I wouldn’t go as far and call it 5 star but it is a good value one.
Things you see online tend to be different when you come in person, but this was not the case with Exe Saldanha. Everything you see online is the same you will see when you check in. The hotel is very clean and the staff is polite and helpful. The location is probably the best possible especially if you are coming from the airport. The red metro line takes you all the way to the hotel and the remaining 3 lines intersect also there - so every part of Lisbon is a few minutes away.
The staff was the friendliest and most accommodating I have ever experienced. They made our stay exceedingly comfortable and luxurious. The hotel was beautiful, I loved the history and the art. The breakfast was fantastic and I also highly recommend their restaurant for dinner--it was the best meal we had during our time in Portugal! The hotel itself was the perfect location for our stay in Lisbon, only a block from the Tower of Belem. I would love to come back and stay again.
Compared to other marinas in the area, this one is shelthered from noisy traffic, it has a lovely setting and Belem is worthwhile a visit for a few days. In close proximity to Lisbon city centre and surrounding coastal towns like Cascais, worth a visit.
The boat has all the necessary to be comfortable, a bit of maintenance on a few issue will enhance the experience. The boat & Marina a great alternative form of accommodation compared to hotels, B&B etc.
The hotel was 5 stars all the way . You could not get a better location as we could walk everywhere . We were so impressed with Lisbon and having picked this hotel made our stay .
During the short stay we even managed to sit around the pool and sun bath . The pool and the courtyard for drinks we’re so lovely and relaxing .
Service and staff were 10/10 for me so highly recommend. May be a bit dearer then others locally but worth every penny
This hotel leans to the more "budget" friendly offerings in Lisbon, and for the price, you get excellent value here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean, and in a great location downtown and close to the airport. I had to leave earlier than the breakfast was offered, but the staff offered to pack a small breakfast for me in a bag to take with me in the morning. Marta is the best!!!
After more than ten trips to Europe, the staff at the hotel is the BEST-EVER. Led by the exceptionally professional manager, Erich. He personally ALWAYS goes above for any and all requests. The hotel is also in a perfect location for touring, food & drink (as in step out of the door of the hotel). An easy to rate 5 star plus service & hotel.
Super nice and helpful team. Changed my room as I asked and I was allowed to checkout later what was very convenient.
As I know, breakfast is not often option in Lisbon’s hotels. In Hotel Capital breakfast was rich enough 👍
And the best is location! 30 minutes away from the Airport (by bus or metro) and city center (by foot).
The location of the hotel is fantastic in the center of Lisbon, 2 minutes for subway station near to some of the best Lisbona actrations, personel take care of you there are refreshents always available in the lobby . The breackfast is good served in a quite small room but not cahotic since very well managed by personel,
I loved the location, which was really close to the historic center of Lisbon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely complimentary breakfast. The best part of this hotel, however, is the staff, who were so kind and really took their time to provide us with recommendations for things to do in the city.
the hotel was a nice size compared to the hotels in Europe we stayed at. the hotel is centrally located plenty of restaurants near by and metro access around the corner. The staff were out of this world they mapped us stuff to do everyday . The staff were the best I ever experienced . 5 star hotel
Quiet luxury oasis in the middle of historic and touristic Lisbon. Gracious, comfortable flat with well appointed kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and garden terrace. Well priced - you are getting SO much more for your money as compared to a 5 star hotel at twice the price.
The staff is fantastic, definitely a 5 stars service! Super nice and willing to help with everything that we needed. The room was very clean with comfortable bed and an amazing view. We recommend this wonderful hotel and if we will visit again Lisbon we will book again this hotel.
Everything it is the best hotel i stayed in very clean rooms comfortable and big good location and the staff was great help with everything and breakfast was perfect i love it planning to stay there again for sure it should be a 5 star hotel
Thanks for making our stay perfect
Fantastic luxury hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. And the breakfast was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The hotel is not in the center of Lisbon but there’s public transportation that’s very easy to use right nearby so this was not a big deal.
This hotel is a located at a very good location in Lisbon. You can walk to the city centre within 10 minutes. The hotel is also very nicely decorated. All of the staffs are helpful, friendly, and willing to give you advise on how to best spend your time in the city.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel with glorious accommodations right in the heart of Lisbon. We loved everything about our stay, from the comfortable bed to the luxury bathroom and the delicious breakfast. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. 100% recommended.
A beautiful hotel in a perfect location for walking around the centre of Lisbon. The service was excellent . Having an outdoor pool was a great bonus . It was truly worthy of its 5 stars
Best breakfast of the 6 hotels we stayed in. I would choose this hotel again when I visit Lisbon again. Location is great, room and staff were good, breakfast was outstanding.
