A beautiful city, and I can't get enough time to fully immerse myself into this amazing place. Nice vibe, so many attractions, so many free things to do. If you stay, it's preferable to choose a place that allows you to cover nearby attractions on foot. I would recommend either a hostel in the Hyde Park area, Southwark, or Rotherhithe. The transportation is well-connected, so consider purchasing a day trip transportation package. There are even some public transportation bus routes that take you to many attractions. If you purchase a day travel card, you can use it for unlimited travel. One bus route I wanted to specifically mention is the '24 Bus Route', which actually covers the top attractions in the city. Also, please prepare a good itinerary to visit the attractions and enjoy free things to do in London. I can't wait to go back to this beautiful country again and again...

Regretted booking specific train times as they were not...

Regretted booking specific train times as they were not flexible at all, meaning we had to kill time in London with tired children. Went to Babylon park in Camden Town having seen brilliant adverts, only to realise it was more suited to ages 10 and under. Multiple occasions of people ‘forgetting’ to give change, when making cash payments (happened in Starbucks in Camden, and another non-chain store.) People in London are generally a lot ruder and less patient than they are further down south. Also went to The 02 in London which was fantastic, paid for VIP tickets/ ticket upgrades and it was so worth it. Went on the London Eye which is amazing, staff were lovely and queue moved very quickly, glad I didn’t bother paying for fast track to skip the queue (this was mid week visit). Spent a lot more than I had intended to, but was worth it for the children.

I personally love the hustle and bustle of the big city, there is always something new to see even if you visit the same places. So much history mixed with lots of modern attractions. My personal favourites so far are The Clink Prison Museum, The View from The Shard, Tower of London and Camden Market. Whatever you're into, you'll find something to do or see. I enjoyed afternoon tea at Ting inside the Shard, the view was fabulous, and a Brigits Bakery afternoon tea bus tour, well worth a ride! The tube is great for getting around, fast and cheap but can get cramped during peak times. I would recommend to not approach street sellers/gamers who will offer you a game in exchange for cash, they are scammers.

Spacious room, large shower with power, superb Modest price...

Spacious room, large shower with power, superb Modest price included a full buffer breakfast. Always a good value location when there are no Excel conferences New clean rooms. With just three stops via the dawdling DLR to Canning Town (connect to fast Jubilee line) and now Custom House (connect to fast Elizabeth line) you have a fast connection to the West End far better than squashed into a box room/dolls house in Bayswater/Queensway. On travel book onto Trainline and buy all rail tickets on this site. Could save 70%. Buy a Network rail card for GBP 20, save this on two journeys as rail fares are expensive. Do NOT travel by car.

The hotel is very well located, and the staff is very friendly. Their offered to keep luggage before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast is a bit limited but the items are all of good quality. We appreciated particularly the service, the room has been cleaned up and we had new water bottles every day. Hotels in London are generally expensive, but this one has a honest price and the overall quality is good. The location is fantastic, especially if you travel through the Heathrow airport (Earl's court is served by Piccadilly line).

I have traveled the world, and this hotel ranks among the nicest hotels I have visited. It is very clean, the location is absolutely perfect, the beds are very comfortable and the room was very quiet. By London standards, the rooms are quite large (we received an upgrade to a bigger room with a sofa bed because one of our rooms wasn't ready yet). The staff couldn't be nicer. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

The owner cared very much about easy check-in/ check-out and ensured we had everything we needed while our stay. The apartment is located a few minutes away from the tower bridge in a quiet area. Perfect for a few days of sight seeing London. For London the apartment is much more spacious and modern than most of the hotels - and considering the location, actually a real bargain.

Perfect hotel for a stay in London! The Covent Gardens area is fantastic and this hotel is right in the heart of it. The room was a huge size (with two floors, which I've never seen in a hotel before haha). Very comfortable bed and large-sized bathroom! Would definitely recommend it.
