I've travelled extensively and London is one of the most dirty place I've been to in Europe. However, it seems to be the norm these days. However, this and the fact that everything is so expensive seems to also be the norm. Transport was good and the Ubers were brilliant. All of the attractions we went to and Theatre Land was great.

The location of our flat Theobold & Emerald was perfect for it's central location to many popular London sites, shopping and food/entertainment options. Getting around in the Taxi (Black Cabs can be summoned on street in 30 sec) and Uber (less expensive, but had to wait to arrive) was VERY easy. MANY walking distance restaurants and coffee shops (Favorite place was "Becks" for coffee & breakfast) London was super clean, safe and welcoming in the areas we visited - Covent Garden, Piccadilly, Brick Lane, Westminster area (the touristy stuff), Trafalgar, Sky Garden and others. The pubs are as authentic as they get anywhere in the World! Our favorites - The Coach House (Piccadilly), Hercules Pillars (Covent Garden), Old Bank of England, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese (historic but dreary) Don't forget to visit the Vintage Market at Brick Lane!

Great location. if you are okay using the Underground you can get anywhere and with the addition of the Elizabeth line recently it makes getting around even easier. Nice breakfast to start the day especially as it can be hard to find an early morning breakfast in England. Also, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are a hidden gem in London for lovers of green spaces. since they are west of most sights they get overlooked. We walked from the hotel down through the park over to Buckingham and had a great time.

It had the best location, very well connected, 2 blocks away from Paddington station which has direct access to Heathrow express. You can find both train, metro and bus service to anywhere in the city. It was also close to many restaurants, eating joints, grocery store, and lots of other shops to buy souvenirs etc. Hotel agreed to store our bags after checkout, as we had a late evening flight to catch. Both check-in and check-out process were smooth. Front office staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for travelling all around london - Russel Sq. Station has Piccadilly line which connects to Heathrow. Otherwise there's King's Cross and St. Pancras train stations. Walking distance to Holborn, Oxford Street, British Museum. Big rooms with windows, better than the majority of London hotels. Some of the rooms are as big as 25 sq m. That is very rare for London at this price. The bathroom was fully renovated with a modern clean design. The bed was comfortable-ish, on the hard side.

The room was always clean and so was the bathroom. The lounge area was small yet amazing. The hotel has certain touches you do not find in other hotels. It feels homey. Loved the theme of the decor in the hotel and our room. everything was in good shape and functioning well. we had seen some old reviews about the rooms being hot, but the room had air con and the window opened for a good breeze so the room was a great temp. Good location to things we planned to do. The hotel had an elevator which many in London/England do not. overall would definitely stay here again.

    1. The place was perfect for our family. We like to stay in places where there is a lounging/living room area and a kitchen; hence the preference for apartments over hotels. Loved the layout - two floors, entrance per floor, luggage storage under the stairs). 2. Ease of check in and check out. 3. Clean and comfortable. 4. Very responsive support even if not onsite. 5. Location was great.

The owner cared very much about easy check-in/ check-out and ensured we had everything we needed while our stay. The apartment is located a few minutes away from the tower bridge in a quiet area. Perfect for a few days of sight seeing London. For London the apartment is much more spacious and modern than most of the hotels - and considering the location, actually a real bargain.

Beautiful, tiny rooms that are easily accessible to the Earl's Court stop on the Underground. Took less than an hour to get to Heathrow. They also let you check your bags if the rooms aren't ready upon arrival. There are hotels in London that cost the same with amenities such as a swimming pool and laundry facilities but access to public transportation was a huge help.
