Friendly staff, great location, good size room, excellent breakfast. The staff were always helpful and arranged a packed breakfast for us when we had an early tour. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of foods, and staff in the dining room kept the tables clean and cleared away dishes quickly. The evening meal selection had a good choice and what we had was tasty.

As a Polish citizen I was in Kraków with the school trip...

As a Polish citizen I was in Kraków with the school trip when I was a kid so it was nice to come here again with my husband who is English and our daughter. We loved visiting all the churches and museums as well as chatedral and Basilica. The underground museum at the main square has a free admission on Tuesday but you have to get tickets from them directly before 10am on Tuesday- no one told us about this and we were there at 10.10am and all the tickets were sold out. Kraków is easy to explore on foot if you don’t mind walking, we walked all the way from centre to Kraków Eye and then to the padlock bridge on river Wistuła. The highlight of our visit was trip to Salt Mine in Wieliczka, we took the bus 304 from Pawia street, just next to Galeria Krakowska shopping centre, bus fare was only 6zł which was equivalent to £1.50 per adult and 3zł per child one way. But don’t assume everything is cheap upon conversion as my daughter wanted a toy which was 90zł this was £21 and food will be expensive if you eat out right on the square but average beer price is 22 to 28 złotych. We dined regularly at Chimera restaurant which is situated just 2 mins walk from main square where pint of beer is 12 zł and it’s the best beer, the food there is fresh and very affordable. We enjoyed the House of Attractions where you have the upside down house, butterfly house where butterflies can sit on you, 3D rides, 7D cinema, laser games etc- great fun for kids and us grown ups too. We stayed in Kraków 6 days and that was plenty. Kraków is beautiful and thriving. We didn’t want to come back to miserable England 😁

The old town is amazing, lovely for just wandering around.

The old town is amazing, lovely for just wandering around. The town square is huge and impressive with lots of restaurants on the fringe and street food outlets in the middle. The trips to Auschwitz and the salt mines were well worth doing. If you like Prague you will find this city equally great for a short city break. Really liked the Black Duck and the pizzeria across the street from it.

    What an amazing place.

What an amazing place. A must visit for all especially if you like your history. Please visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, Schindlers factory, The Salt mines , Mountain spars, and the museum under the square, We choose a golf cart tour bought from Crakow tours and this was better and far cheaper than buying it off the street. A flat cobblestone city so take flat shoes., but it’s very easy to find your way around. Please use the park that was the city walls as it’s beautiful and can get you anywhere. It was incredibly clean and not one pothole. A very safe place , it puts us British to shame . Very nice accommodating people , very polite. It was expensive in the old town especially on the square but not excessively so ( be aware of service charges in some places) I wasn’t overly keen on the food as it was very carbohydrate heavy and meat heavy. They love their filled donuts. You can find 2/3 donut shops on most large streets. Absolutely loved Krakow

I visit Krakow regularly, I love the city, every time I go it changes in some form or other, this visit I noticed how clean and tidy the streets and many renovated buildings in the centre. New shops and restaurants and the same bustling crowds on a lovely sunny weekend. Pubs and cafes some old some new and the beer was as good as always. I stayed only for 5 days along with some studies and enjoyed my stay visiting old town, riverside and the beautiful centre. I cannot wait for my next visit

Amazing city. Lots to do. Friendly, welcoming people. Plenty of culture, food and drink, all reasonably priced, including tourist attractions and tours. I advise people to go soon, as everybody will realise what a wonderful place it is, and it will become over run with tourists, (very ironic).

Hotel is the oldest and the classiest in Kraków. I stayed here before and I was excited to return with my elderly parents on this occasion. Hotel has been recently renovated and deserves all 5 stars. Great location in the heart of the old town. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Delicious, fancy breakfast with Polish delicacies. I was impressed with the customer service, especially the receptionist BEATA has gone above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Thank you!

The room was perfect for the price, just steps away from the main plazas of Krakow old town. It was clean, beds were fine. Wifi was strong and the showers were hot, what else could you demand or need? I have seen a lot of complainers and winers write how miserable they were here but it was perfectly fine and if people are expecting 5 stars, go stay at the Hilton or Marriott! This place and others like it enable us to travel more and spend less!

We arrived earlier than the check in time but we left our luggages there and when the room was ready the reception send us a message. The breakfast had many options and all of them were delicious. Located in the heart of Old Town Krakow, it’s a short walk away from the castle, restaurants, churches, park etc. Hotel looks inviting and staff was super nice and helpful. Drive to the airport took about 15-20 minutes very early in the AM, otherwise it’s about 30-35min away in day time traffic. It’s good to reserve a taxi to be picked up right from the front of the hotel.

Great location, super close to the main square in the old Town, yet in a silent street. Breakfast was ok; since it is an aparthotel, they didn't have a buffet; instead they would bring a nice assortment of food for breakfast, that could be chosen amongst 4 different options. Best thing was how spacious was the apartment, with nice furniture and bed, for a good price.

Well appointed, grand hotel in a fabulous location in the centre of Krakow old town - everything within easy walking distance, including the rail station. Considering it's on a busy street there is no internal street noise and certainly wasn't in our bedroom on the first floor. Lovely restaurant that's definitely worth at least one try for a dinner.
