We got a welcome shampoo from Rituals, which was a nice touch (but unfortunately there was only one per room, not per person).

Old town is the best part and it is good to discover it by foot. I visited also the main train station and I was impressed. If you like good food with meat, local cuisine is just for you. I didn't eat bad when I chose local brewery to have a lunch and a good beer.

We have visited Prague 9 times now, on trips varying from 5 nights to 28 nights in length. Always amazing to be there. We always do the regular tourist sites and often gets trains and coaches to lesser known, but equally beautiful, places in Czechia.

Anything between a minimum of 5 days and maximum of 10 days...
Anything between a minimum of 5 days and maximum of 10 days would cover the majority of Prague, Whether you are a history buff, art lover, night-life enjoyer or a very casual tourist, you should be able to get a good feel for the city if you spend about 5+ days.
I preferred to enjoy most of the cultural and touristy things while also trying out restaurants to sample the local cuisine. On average, I visited about 4 things/day (this means museums/galleries/organised tours) and if you're not one to do this and would prefer just to take in the sights from outside, rather than going inside, then you can probably cut to 3 days itinerary and enjoy the river cruise, the plazas and squares, the architecture and winding streets.
However, if you do like history and art, you should plan for 2 days just to visit the Prague Castle which is a cluster of buildings where you can easily see 10+ of them, each taking at least 1h. Then, you should probably have 2 days for the city-centre which includes many city gates (towers), churches/synagogues and some museums and galleries.
As for food, you can try Lokal (good no-frills food, on a budget), U Parlament (you might have to wait for a table but the food is pretty good, also nothing fancy).

Prague is unique: A well preserved relic of the old Europe that connects well with ideas for the new Europe.
There are far too many tourists shoving along the old town square all the way across Charles Bridge up Mala strana. And yet, this city never seems to lose its charme and keeps beckoning to come back for more.
Somehow, everything you might ask for seems to be right at hand.
People who live here tend to be sophisticated and helpful.

As with a number of other European cities the level of homelessness / street living is quite confronting, from early in the morning till late at night. Apart from that we enjoyed viewing the sights of Prague, from the old to the new.
It is an easy walking city plus has very good public transport

Prague is a perfect, dreamy, fairytale city.
Prague is a perfect, dreamy, fairytale city. You must be prepared for lots of walking but with random pleasant spires and views on each turn. It is magical no matter what time you visit during the year. But try not to visit during peak tourist times.
The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and the room very comfortable with great amenities. There were so many options available at the breakfast buffet and the coffee was delicious. There is free water, tea, cappuccino available in the lobby all day and there is a bar on site. They really think of everything here to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was also very reasonably priced. The hotel is in a central location, just a few minutes walk to the old Town Square. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. It is a very small hotel, with only 12 rooms so it feels very personal. Breakfast was nice, a plate with freshly sliced ham cheese and vegetables was brought to the table. You could order scrambled eggs, get fruit or cereals.
But the best thing is its location: 5 minutes on foot to the old town square and one minute to the main square of new town. Plus right next to the meteo station, should you want to move further out.
The best locations in Prague only 5 minutes walking distance to old town square, 15 minutes walking to Charles bridge, 15 minutes walking to the riverboats cruise and restaurants, bars, cafes, terraces open until midnight and only 5 minutes walking from the hotel, breakfast buffet lots of choices, restaurants served quality food, hotel staffs are helpful and friendly they even prolonged our checkout till 2pm for free instead of 12 because our flight are around 6pm
The outside of this hotel looks like nothing special, but inside it's full of beautiful, old-world elegance. The view from our room over the river was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to many attractions including the Charles Bridge, and Christmas markets in the Old Town Square. If travelling light, it's a nice walk through the back streets (2km, about 20 minutes) to the main railway station of Praha hl.n.
Room was lovely, overlooking a small square and you could see church towers. The walls are 2 feet thick so very quiet. Reception desk staff were wonderful! Iana was very helpful. We loved the welcome gifts, very thoughtful.
Location of the hotel is perfect. We easily walked everywhere. It is only 75 yards from the old town square. Would definitely stay there, room 22, again.
Breakfast buffet was remarkable.
Wonderful location, right in front of the astronomical clock, it is a spectacle to see the people who gather in front of the clock every hour. Tip: The hotel is in a pedestrian area, the closest driving point is Paris street and the old town square, right where the Cartier store is located, then you just have to walk across the square with your luggage to reach the hotel.
The hotel was beautiful inside. Clean, comfortable and with an amazing view! It is close to the Charles Bridge and right at the bottom of the path to the Castle and Cathedral. I usually stay in the old town square but this was quieter and just as convenient. There is also a shop in the lobby and the receptionist was very helpful.
We had a great stay here
The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable
We appreciated the free parking right in front of the hotel.
The lady at the reception was helpful and very polite
We enjoyed the breakfast, it was good for a 3 stars hotel.
Great position, it took us 15-20 minutes to get in the old town square.
one of the best hotel i've been! few metres to the Old Town Square, Breakfast was very varied and delicous, large and beautiful bedrooms and comfy beds, very clean and tidy everything, the staff was very kind, most of all Roidon, he gave us many good informations and was very kind!
The modern vibe of the hotel (and room) was very pleasent, the check-in process was also very quick. The shower and additional shampoo was of great quality! The room was clean and the location is not too far from the old town square (30 minutes by foot).
Very nice and quiet hotel. Not too far of a walk to the old town square and Charles bridge. It has a nice retro aesthetic. A train station is right in front of the hotel if you'd like to get across town quickly. But you really can just walk!
Great location to the Old Town Square and it’s quiet, away from the mainstream touristy spots.
While the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, it does serve a breakfast buffet which is really excellent !
Very friendly and helpful staff!
Location is great. The hotel is right next to a metro station and the trams leave from close by. The old town square is 5 minute walk away. Room was very basic, but I didn't need anything else than a bed and a clean bathroom!
Very generous breakfast with lots of different options. Spacious room, the hotel was 5 to 10 mins away from the old town Square and close to amenities and transport links. Very good value for money.
