The woman at the front desk was one of the nicest hotel employees we have encountered in Europe. In addition to the free welcome drinks and discount cards, the woman was eager to help out with anything we needed. We had a 04:00 departure, and the gentleman offered us bottled water before we left.

The reception staff were absolutely AMAZING!!! We had less than 24 hours in Prague and when we first arrived we were able to check in to our room early and the staff immediately asked if we wanted a city map and gave us recommendations to restaurants and a general itinerary to the different “must-see” sights to visit. They even gave us a free water instead of having to pay the vending machine and ordered us a ride-share. We also purposely booked this hotel because it was right across the street from the train station and we had an early morning train, so it was VERY convenient.

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully, the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale facade of this Bohemian city intact.
Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.
Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.
The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Prague is a beautiful little city with a lot of history and impressive architecture.
High prices almost everywhere, like in every European capital, so try the cafes and restaurants off the main streets and squares.
Watch out for pickpockets, especially on public transport and when queueing anywhere.
A 24-hour public transport ticket is a good idea - then you can just hop on and off any bus, train, underground, and most of the little ferries that cross the river. And don’t be afraid to explore - it’s a relatively small city, so even just random bus-hopping will eventually take you back to the centre.

Prague is very beautiful.
Prague is very beautiful. The two days we stayed it was raining , but we enjoyed the city anyway - which for me means a lot. The parks are picturesque and seemed to be carefully maintained. Touristic location are well connected by tram if you don't like walking a lot. If you do - it is definitely a place for you. There was quite a lot of reconstruction, but it did not affect the impression and it is a good thing eventually. The beer is a separate story - only for tasting it the journey is worth it. Totally recommend and totally will go again myself

Amazing and vibrant city, the architecture is amazing, everywhere you look there’s a work of art. You can enjoy the city, but also many natural areas which are quiet and good for relaxing away from the city hassle, and which are still walkable distance. There are loads of restaurants, bars, cafes, gelaterie, you really wanna try them all! There are also food markets perfect to try different dishes. Will definitely come back!

I would love to return to Prague but it will be in the off season. I would not fight these over the top crowds again I thought being there the first couple of days in June we would be ok but I was wrong. The city is an incredible history lesson so take the kids out of school. Learn the public transportation system before you go. Be in shape the castle is about 100 meters strait up, research the beers you want to try. My husband spent a lot of time with a beer in one hand watching crazy tourist. Know that smoking is allowed outside on the terrace of the eating establishment. Prague has fantastic traditional food but surprisingly great Vietnamese dishes as well We spent 4 days and it was not enough.

We loved Prague I last visited 8 years ago and it was just as interesting and exciting to visit a second time, I wish we had booked for a longer trip - we ran out of time to see all the things. The city is steeped in history, art and culture. The local people that we met were charming and helpful and to my shame all spoke very good English.
The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and the room very comfortable with great amenities. There were so many options available at the breakfast buffet and the coffee was delicious. There is free water, tea, cappuccino available in the lobby all day and there is a bar on site. They really think of everything here to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was also very reasonably priced. The hotel is in a central location, just a few minutes walk to the old Town Square. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
I loved everything about this hotel. It was immaculately clean and always smelt fresh (I guess that's why it's named Hotel Essence)! Breakfast was good and the location of the property was excellent - 5 minutes walk to the Old Town square. The rooms are a great size with an oversize bathroom. However the best thing about this hotel is the Reception staff - they were super friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions. The best trained staff I have come across in my 2 months of travel across Europe😊
friendly staff, always trying to help, and make your stay more comfortable ; they provided personal level services taking us by car to multiple places , arranging dinner reservations , taking us to train station , always filling our cups with coffee , water or beer . you feel more like home that a hotel, located on a small street very quiet , a couple of local bakeries very close , several nice restaurants 1/2 block away. close to old town square. Breakfast buffet fresh . clean rooms.
This Hotel is located in the nice and calm neighbourhood Holesovice some 4km north of the old town square. To get to the city centre you can take the tram (stop some 300m away) which will only take approx. 15mins. Our room and the Hotel in general was really clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was included and very delicious and very varied. Parking was also free, either in the underground car park or opposite the Hotel entrance in the street. So good value for your money.
The outside of this hotel looks like nothing special, but inside it's full of beautiful, old-world elegance. The view from our room over the river was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to many attractions including the Charles Bridge, and Christmas markets in the Old Town Square. If travelling light, it's a nice walk through the back streets (2km, about 20 minutes) to the main railway station of Praha hl.n.
The location is great - only 5 minutes walk to the Old Town Square. Reception staff and breakfast staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The breakfast room was staffed so well and the staff were extremely efficient in clearing and setting tables. They also checked food levels - one of the best run breakfast rooms we have encountered. Our room was a good size. Hotel is extremely clean. Next time we are in Prague would definitely stay here.
Hotel is well located opposite to Central station and major attractions, old town square, Wenceslas square etc. can be reached walking for 10-15 mins Max. It's very convenient. Rooms are basic but has everything that we need. Breakfast was great. Staff is really helpful. They provided me information on where to eat, what to see, where to exchange money etc. They even helped me with changing big amount of CZK into small money. It was a fabulous stay
Lovely hotel, rooms were spotless and large. We booked a triple and we had plenty of space.
Breakfast was good with a variety of choices.
Hotel is close to the Old Town, took us about 15min walk to get to the Astronomical Clock.
Plenty of small corner shops around.
An exchange is close by and the rate was the best we could find compared to city centre. As you turn right going out from the hotel you'll find it in about 300-400m.
The hotel is essentially a brand new hotel, it was very close to the city center and a walking distance of local amenities, Old Town Square was essentially a 11 minute walk from there. List of food places nearby with a pop up food market about a 8 minute walk from the hotel.
The decor is very modern and colorful, has a minimalist feel to it and great furniture placings. The breakfast was really good, and satisfying for just €10.
Best value for money if what you are looking for is location and comfort. Everything was within walking distance, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, National Museum, Palladium Mall, etc. The hotel was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and professional. Got immediate help whenever needed. Strongly recommend MOODs Charles Bridge hotel.
The location is good and approximately a 10 minute walk from old town square. The hotel is nice and clean with good food and nice, spacious rooms which are kept maintained and replenished during your stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful with knowledge of the city and nothing is too much trouble.
beautiful hotel, busy but not too busy - great breakfast selection and nice bar/restaurant - easy access to the old town square, very helpful staff and a few nice complimentary touches - and best of all they rearranged the booking several times due to the pandemic with no quibbles whatsoever.
Excellent staff. Monika was very nice and helpful from check in to check out. Apartment is conveniently located near the main train station and old town square. Restaurants and stores nearby. Apartment itself feels like a hotel. My family and I had a comfortable stay.
The hotel is located in a pretty square which is adjacent to old town square. The location is very convenient, and the view from the room's windows is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. This hotel is absolutely recommended.
Good hot water and water pressure
Within walking distance of Old Town Square
The hotel emailed me information about the city and instructions on how to get to many attractions which I though was pretty cool
Breakfast is buffet style
Nice size room
Great location to the Old Town Square and it’s quiet, away from the mainstream touristy spots.
While the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, it does serve a breakfast buffet which is really excellent !
Very friendly and helpful staff!
One the best location to stay in Prague i appreciate the hotel staff and there welcome style specially. Its on very prime location 2 minutes walk only to old town square and famous places in Prague. I would recommend everyone.
The hotel was in the middle of the city (can get to old town square in 5 mins) and all the staff was very friendly and accommodative. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, perfect for a long weekend stay.
