Beautiful view from the room. Great breakfast - the best in my two weeks on Kefalonia.
Featuring a bar-restaurant with views over the Ionian Sea, Pantelis is only 164 feet from the pebbled beach of Poros in Kefalonia and within a short walk from taverns and bars.

We used the full sized stove and fridge during our week. There was extra storage and counter work surfaces. Kitchen was well stocked. Two individual bedrooms shares one long terrace with great sea views. The terrace had four chairs, a small table, and two long cloths lines. There was always a parking spot directly in front of the building. Wonderful sea breezes! Daily cleaning was available.
Valsamis Villa Apartments is located in Poros, just a few steps from Poros Beach and a 10-minute walk from Ragia Beach. Featuring sea and mountain views, this condo hotel also has free Wifi.
Oceanis Apartments is set in front of the port, nestling among the trees in the scenic village of Poros in Kefalonia. The village center is 492 feet away.

The hotel is located close to the port of poros so if you are coming in via ferry boat from kyllini it’s easily accessible, it is even walkable. There is a beach nearby , basket ball and volleyball courts , restaurants cafes and super markets all in walking distance
The staff was pleasant and personable and assisted us with getting transportation to other areas in kefalonia
The hotel was clean and comfortable
There were common areas that you could utilise such as the lobby or a large shared balcony on each floor
Poros is a small but friendly village. Plenty of choice for places to eat including gluten free options. Long pebble beach with beautifully clear water for snorkelling. Regular car and passenger ferries and options for trips to Ithaca and Zante from the small port area. Generally public transport (bus) is poor but car, motorbike, quad bike and bicycle hire is available. Lots of ATMs but no bank.

Poros beach is a pebble beach.
Poros beach is a pebble beach. Most sandy beaches can be found in the southern part of the island. But Poros was good for snorkeling. Close to restaurants and shopping. Conveniently a port for the ferry to the mainland can be found in this town.

I travelled late in the season (late September) so it was quiet but with most restaurants and cafes open. Hard to say how busy it would be in peak season as many apartments and some shops were closed up.
Some lovely restaurants on the beach and a few tourist shops plus good supermarket, fruit and fish shops. Interesting to watch the boats coming in/out if the harbour and if you're lucky you get to see dolphins!!

We liked the sea across the road and a short walk to eat out.
We didn't like that we were not given what we booked for the first five nights of our stay, the smallest apartment with one double bed. I had booked and paid for a large apartment with one double and one single bed. The property manager was rude, shouted at me and refused to refund the money.
The cleaners and maintenance staff are left to sort out problems. They were doing their best but it was hard to take as a single parent, I had worked hard to prepare for a holiday and it was met with these kinds of attitudes and treatment by the booking agency who can only refund 15%.
A holiday I booked 5 months before should have been free of this type of stress.
We didn't like being at the mercy of property managers or taxi drivers charging too much money.
Not enough fresh fruit and veg.
Chilling at Caminia beach, and a boat trip to Ithaca with Hermes boats to Ithaca were great. Thankfully I shielded my daughter from all of it.

A small, quiet town but perfect for someone wanting to leave the big town noise behind like I wanted. It is good to have a car so that one can make excursions to other parts of the island. Poros is well connected to other areas. There are numerous restaurants in Poros so one can decide to have self-catering or go out eating.

Poros Kefalonia is a small seaside resort.
Poros Kefalonia is a small seaside resort. It is a restful place perfect for those travellers who wish to swim in the sea, eat excellent meals at locally owned tavernas, and generally relax. The beach, as most beaches are in Kefalonia, is pebbly, so beach shoes are recommended. There are places where one can rent a sunbed and umbrella for the day. Poros is an hour's taxi ride away from the airport. If you want to explore Kefalonia, a rental car is recommended. We enjoyed eating at Paradise Cafe, which has a saltwater pool, To Korali, and To Spitikon. The last two are excellent traditional tavernas.
Great location with fantastic views. I love a family owned property, and this did not disappoint. Free shuttle from the center of Poros, clean pool and facilities, wonderful room with comfortable bed, great shower, lovely views from my patio, delicious breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and many options, great coffee and even Greek Mountain tea. The entire family was part of my experience and they were wonderful. I booked a room last minute, and it was a great value. I would absolutely come back again.
This place really is all about its host, Kristi. She's amazing. When we were leaving, I felt like we've made a new friend. We also liked the view from our terrace, the location close to everything in Poros (and not in the hills!) and the breakfasts. Even though it was very hot outside, our rooms were always very comfy temperature without using the AC. Kristi makes really nice cakes and other pastry and her dad plays a guitar very well and loves his cats.
Takis and Matina were the best hosts, always so helpful and concerned about their guests wellbeing. They would go above and beyond to make you have the best experience on the island.
The hotel is close to the 2 main beaches of Poros: Ragia and Poros, both of them very quiet. If you are more into touristic beaches you'll need a car. Takis is more than happy to help you find a car.
Great location just near poros port, very beautiful view on the sea and port with shades of blue.
Hosts were very kind and provided us with advices and assistance during all stay which was quite helpful
Rooms are cosy and nice, Cleaning was done every day properly so everything we expected was done and we enjoyed our stay
Great location, easy to park close to hotel , Supermarket nearby . Family run Greek hotel and warmly met by the lovely owner George.Check in was speedy.Room was really good.Had wrap around balcony, sea view, fridge,TV,air con and even a bottle opener/ corkscrew. Really clean, great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay
Loved the staff. The owner is very friendly and enjoys conversations and sharing stories. He upgraded our room and helped prepare our breakfast. The rooms were gigantic and it was more than we expected. This hotel is amazing and a must visit if you're nearby or hopping on/off the ferry. My highest recommendation.
The town of Poros is a fantastic place to base ourselves for exploring Kefalonia. Poros beach is fantastic and 10 mins walk away, or there id a stonier beach straight across from the property. Kiki went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable, she even had a beach umbrella for us to borrow.
We had a wonderful stay at Galini for 5 nights, such a warm welcome from Efi, Eric and the team. Its such a cute place, an amazing view over the sea and the bay of Poros. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast coffee was a nice touch too. Would certainly return. Good value.
Large room with incredible sunrise view over the sea. Private parking is available next to the hotel. The bed was large and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the best taverns in Poros.
Also, I could do a later check-in (though it was not very easy to arrange)
Exceptional accommodation. The hosts are special people, always with a smile on their faces. Cleaning was done every day like at a 4-star hotel. Breakfast the same but very rich. I didn't find anything unpleasant. We will gladly return to this hotel. Thank you!
Great location facing the sea and with a huge balcony, very clean in the whole hotel area and friendly helpful crew. Also having good restaurant with sea view just in front of the hotel. Parking space also available at all times
The place has an amazing view. It looks better than on the pictures!
The host is really nice, she is very friendly and helpful.
It is close to different nice beaches and touristic attractions in Poros.
Very close to Harbour. Nice terrace. The individual AC for the bedrooms were nice. The price is right! Walking distance to Poros beach and restaurants, and stores. Owner lives nearby and is helpful.
Lovely family hotel. Very kind lovely people. Brilliant shuttle service to and from the wonderful seaside village of Poros
Fantastic breakfast included. Exceptional value for money
Spacious room, wonderful balcony view of the sea, great breakfast, overall beautiful hotel spaces! Very friendly and nice hosta, thanks for taking care of us!
Very kind staff, quiet place, great sea view, very good breakfast, strong wifi, daily room service. Many restaurants around and easy to move around Kefalonia.
The room was big enough for two and they cleaned it everyday, not that usual in Greece, so it is a big plus. I liked it and I would like to stay there again.
