Fantastic staff. Got there really early and they managed to give us access to the room at around 9.30 which helped a lot when youre traveling with children. Excellent location. Beautiful hotel with a great bar. Very clean. Room was on the smallish side and the bed somewhat soft, but I am a heavy guy. Excellent room cleaning services. Lots of free drinks, coffee, tea etc.

"My stay at Anantara Hotel Budapest was truly delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the impeccable service and attention to detail. The rooms were elegantly decorated and provided a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The hotel amenities were top-notch, from the luxurious spa to the exquisite dining options. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, catering to my every need with professionalism and warmth. While the location is undoubtedly a highlight, the overall experience at Anantara Hotel Budapest exceeded my expectations in every way."

Breakfast was a disappointment with very limited options. Especially being a vegetarian, there wasn't anything to eat.

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.
Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it has the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.
Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try them than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.
To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur and, based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.
With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels available in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes it an easy choice.
Beautiful city but not tourist welcoming. They are very rude specially the women. No Patience, roll their eyes when you are counting coins or did not understand. The city is beautiful but expect a poor customer service and no kindness at all.

Went for the Dimash concert and it was awesome.
Went for the Dimash concert and it was awesome. The Papp Laszlo Arena was easy to get to and from due to the excellent public transport system. Lots of trees/shade in the city on hot days, plenty of cafe's/restaurants/bars to cater to all price brackets. Particularly enjoyed the dancing fountains on Margaret Island; the House of Music Hungary in City Park an exhibition space and open air theatre combined was one of the highlights of my trip, the permanent exhibition was fantastic. Plenty for history buffs but close to beautiful Buda hills for those who like to walk/hike. Nagycsarnok Market (nr Liberty Bridge) worth a visit. Best to book ahead if you want tours in a specific language, to save a wasted journey, especially in high season.
I hope I have an opportunity to return to this beautiful city, and spend more time with it's citizens, despite my very limited Hungarian vocabulary.

If you're staying longer than 72 hours, just take the 15 days-card via the Budapest Go app. It's just as expensive (cheap) as 72 hours card. So for 15 euro's you're covered for all public transport!

Budapest is a large city.
Budapest is a large city. We were there for 7 days but we could have stayed another few days. Transport is excellent and all the tours we undertook were very good. Not as pedestrianised as much as Prague but would definitely revisit in future. Walk as much as possible to see everything.
The boat has an amazing view of the Parliament building and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck is priceless. Breakfast was really good and diverse.
The bathroom is quite small, but it is a boat after all, so that was not a big issue.
The room was very clean and the staff always friendly, polite and helpful.
Parking is available close by, so the hotel is a great option if you want to avoid the crowded areas in the center where access by car is limited, but still feel an authentic Budapest atmosphere.
We chose this hotel due to its central location and stylish design and it did not disappoint. The location is excellent with a very short walk to the city centre. The hotel and room is very nicely decorated and comfortable. The bed especially is so comfortable. And despite its very central location the room was so quiet and calm. The staff is incredibly friendly and nice and made our stay memorable. If we would come back to Budapest we would stay there again!
Breakfast was exelent, very good food, everything very fresh and tasty, the dining room is very very clean and the staff is very freindly and helpfull. Want to thank Irda who welcomed us every morning with a big smile, and Dora for preparing the wonderfull food.
The location is right in the center of Budapest.
Very quiet hotel.
Room was large, comfortable and very clean. The shower was exceptional.
Coffee machine in the lobby with very good coffee.
Wow! 5 star hotel literally a palace!
Fabulous staff who go out of there way to help!!
Kind and helpful -
Fabulous on site restaurant and the breakfast is wonderful in a large palace room that was a piece of art with stunning frescoes - the sweetest staff ever - as an American, Hungary is not as proficient in the English language so expect some language barriers more then more then other parts of Europe - but they all try their best with kindness
This small apartment has everything you need for your stay in Budapest. The location is great with busses conneiing to the city centre just a short walk away. One of the best public baths with thermal springs is also really close. The apartment itself is super clean and the bed is very comfy. Check-in and out is super easy. The host is super nice, arranged for an early check-in and was overall super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Most amazing location, super clean, wonderful staff and great breakfast so stylish. I stayed in Budapest couple of times but this was definitely the best hotel and best experience ever. My friend had a birthday and they were kind enough to bring a champagne to our room she was beyond happy made her whole day awesome. Thank you for being accommodating and super helpful. We are coming back again!
Location is outstanding, right in the city centre, and all of Budapest's biggest attractions can be reached on foot.
Room was bright, modern and cleaned daily.
Air conditioning worked perfectly well, essential as the weather was very hot.
Iron and kettle were provided for me on arrival.
Breakfast was nice, perfectly adequate for a three star hotel.
All staff I engaged with were pleasant.
Location is excellent in the city centre of Budapest, all main sightseeings (Parliament, Basilika, Jewish quarter, Buda castle, Danube river) are within walking distance. Close to bus stop, tram and metro stations, restaurants, bars, shops. The apartment hotel is quite new, room is clean and everything is there. Breakfast buffet is very good.
The hotel was roughly a 7minute walk going to the city centre, the room is very eco-friendly and classy and the intercontinental breakfast was good! I'm very satisfied with the single room I had as a solo traveller.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time and again everything was great. Everyone is so nice and helpful, breakfasts are great! Room is nice and silent. Location of the hotel is really good and you can walk to the city centre without using public transport. When we will go to Budapest again our hotel choice is clear!
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't imagine a better experience with staff at another hotel. All the facilities are up to date and the city centre location is perfect for a brisk walk in the city. Definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a quick trip to Budapest.
Very nice clean hotel....very kind people work there no problem for english speaking guests.parking is also very good and cheap parking compare to city centre hotels...... metro station Puskas Ferenc stadion is next to hotel.
Truly the highest level of comfort and care I have ever experienced in a 5 star hotel. The rooms, breakfast and service were impeccable. I have no doubt that this is the most sophisticated hotel in Budapest.
Hotel is clean & beautiful. Staff are friendly & helpful. One of the best budapest restaurant is downstairs & we had breakfast included to our room there. Location is close to many attractions.
Everything was perfect! Great communication, clean and tidy place to highest level and amazing service..The best place to live in all of budapest. Very Close to station, bus and city centre
The hotel offers the best spa in the city and the most satisfying breakfast. Minding the location that is close to the major points of interest, the hotel is the top pick for Budapest guests!
We are regular guests, still returning back when we stay in Budapest so it says everything. Very comfortable hotel nearby city centre with everything you need.
