The hotel is relatively close to the train station. Good directions were given in advance to walk to the hotel. Breakfast was very good. It mostly consisted of croissants and cakes, but adequate meat and cheese were also available. The staff was very nice. On our last morning, it started to rain as we were leaving for the train station and we were very kindly offered a ride so we wouldn't get wet.

The ancient Etrurian city of Perugia forms a unique and romantic pattern, and is surrounded by green hills. Perugia’s Old Town still houses several hotels and restaurants that are centuries old.
The city has a vibrant cultural life and is home to several important institutions, such as the renowned local university, the University for Foreigners, and other institutes. It is a wonderful historic city. Although it is perched on high ground it is very accessible through public escalators in various parts of the city and with a minimetro from the Perugia station right up to the top at a very small price. Very convenient.

Nice , quaint city, the best was not having many tourists like nearby Assisi. many good restaurants to choose from (old city). being perched on a top of a hill , you need to be prepared to walk/climb quite a bit (but worth the effort)

Historic town with many historic buildings.
Historic town with many historic buildings. Easy to travel by mini metro and rail to Assisi. A shuttle bus operates to take visitors up to the old town. Lots of eating facilities and many restaurants. We used Perugia as a base from which we could visit Assisi.

A very picturesque, historical old town with plenty of cafes and restaurants; Uphill climb into the town centre is massively helped by the open air escalators and elevators; driving in the ZTL (very narrow streets) and parking in the centre is an issue (no possibility to book a parking space in advance) - but it may have been due to the increased inflow of tourists during the Umbria Jazz Festival

Perugia is not only a great city in itself but also a great base to explore the wonders of Umbria and even Tuscany. We had a week there and spent three days in the city itself sight seeing and shopping - highlights included the amazing new gallery, practically empty, the amazing Nobile Collegio del Cambio frescoed by Perugino, the medieval aquaduct that you can walk along and of course the Perugina chocolate factory (reached by Bus A from the Bus or train station if you don't have a car.) We also went on day trips to Gubbio, Lake Trasimeno and Spoleto by bus or train. I will be back as there were many other places that I would like to visit and Perugia makes a convenient hub. We also always found welcoming restaurants to eat in the evening and even got quite a few new clothes.

Perugia is historically one of the most important cities in Umbria. Sights are well presented, museums and entrance fees are reasonable, mongo attractions are free. Restaurants OK. During the Umbria Jazz festival, the city is quite crowded, but the city is even more colorful.
This actually was very interesting hotel. Great service by all. Kinda of outdated a little but it was charming of some sort.
Although older it’s very well maintained and clean. Convenient store on the first floor with all kinds of goodies. Good breakfast. If you are traveling with a car it’s perfect because they have easy parking. It’s kinda of far from city Center about 25 min walk up the hills and I mean steep hills ( I am a runner so well trained). I didn’t mind it because my main concern was parking so this worked perfect for me.
The hotel was really beautiful and the room very clean. There was a large parking space free of charge. The breakfast was wonderful with really quality products and of course, with many types of chocolates. The breakfast got even better when a very friendly person from the staff, Eriona, brought us an italian coffee and grated chocolate on it instead of sugar. It was the best coffee ever. On my next trip to Perugia, I will definitely book this hotel again.
The apartment was amazing! Old Italy with modern amenities. Coffee was provided . Apartment spotless. The view from the bedrooms showed the stunning view of the landscape of Perugia. There’s a Pam Mimi market nearby and another a short walk away. Location excellent- just down the hill from the main Piazza. Felt very safe and at home. Dario made everything easy - very helpful with transportation tips and checking in to be sure all was going smoothly.
The city center of Perugia is an interesting place with all of the quirks of being a modern city within medieval walls. The Hotel Umbria is part of that charm being hidden within the backstreets of the city center. It is perfectly placed to enjoy the history of Perugia. The staff gave great recommendations on sights and restaurants. Convenient to the train station via the minimetro. Would gladly stay there again.
Staying at Primavera Mini Hotel means living an authentic experience in Perugia. You are in the historical city centre, easy to reach with a mini metro from the railway station (stop at Cupa, then take the escalator and you are 2 min from the hotel). You can enjoy all the suggestions provided with passion by the host. The rooms are curated and comfortable, well-equipped and really clean.
- Staff was very helpful (they also helped us shorten our stay at no extra cost)
- Hotel and rooms were clean
- Breakfast pastry was good
- If you want a "base of operations" to drive around during your stay, the location is very convient.
- Parking (both below and above ground) is very convient
- Good sound-proofing in the room, couldn't hear a thing of what was going on outside .
As we planned to use Perugia as our base, we wanted to be close to the city center, but also be able to easily leave the city by car to visit other locations. Thus, the Hotel Europa was perfect for our needs. The view from our room was excellent, the room was fairly comfortable and breakfast was decent. The hotel also provides affordable parking on site.
This villa is an exceptional place, full of history and very comfortable. Breakfast is perfect, rooms are spacious with comfy beds, and a bathroom to die for. The hostess makes you really feel welcome and provides you with all the info you need. Free parking on site, and a huge garden to sit in or make a walk. Perugia is close by. A wunderful experience!
An ideal location right in the centre of the historic centre of Perugia. The family running the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and always helped with the parking of our car. Our room was ample and very clean and quiet. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main square and lots of good restaurants.
This is a beautiful hotel -- sparkling clean, a sophisticated atmosphere, helpful staff, and breakfast offerings that were the best of the hotels we stayed in during our 17-day vacation in Italy. It was a delight to return to the hotel each evening for a relaxing time before bed. Perfect location in the historic center.
A very luxurious hotel on a perfect location in the historical centre of Perugia. Clean, great rooms and breakfast, excellent service, very efficient vallet service makes it easy to use your car on the doorstep of the hotel. Anazing underground heated swimming pool. Excellent massage for my wife in our room.
Dependencies were nice and clean. A bit old, but seems like they are working on it.
Location is very good, short walk to everything in Perugia. A little bit tricky to park but, once in hotel, everything ran fine. Breakfast is also very good.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Perugia. The staff were so helpful with our bags and giving us parking guidance. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. Grazie e buona fortuna:-)
If you want to stay within the ztl, this hotel is a great option! It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot but the escalators made it easier with bags. It's also only about 10 euros for a taxi to the parking lot.
Everything was welcoming and comfortable.
It’s was the best stay in Italy yet! Perfect location, clean, well thought out in decor and aesthetics. Such a lovely stay! Thank you!
Family-run hotel; very friendly and helpful staff in a perfect location, just a few minutes walking from the main square of Perugia's old town. Great cappuccinos for breakfast.
Very old hotel not really close to the main attractions in the city. It is family run but in Italy this often means very poor service and lack of professional atitudes.
