The wonderful hospitality of Vivanh, the hostess, and everyone (and the cats) here made my stay so pleasant! A couple of very nice restaurants around. The place itself is charming: in colonial style and by the river, the room is cool, airy and have terrace looking over the backyard. the night is so quiet that you hear insects chirping. The location is a bit off from center, but it's an easy distance and very nice by bike/scooter or ferry.

That's why the atmosphere is awesome among guests. For me, eye mask or ear plugs are NOT needed even though the morning market(around 5am-11am) is in front of the property! And also air conditioner(made in Japan) is no needed too in the end of Nov. You're lucky. You should definitely stay if there's availability.

Villa Ban Lakkham is a 5-minute walk to Phu Si Mountain and National Museum. Luang Prabang Airport is a 15-minute drive away. The room was very clean, with nice terrace facing the river. Comfortable beds and the bathroom was spacious too.The best part was having Tom around giving us advice n detail direction daily as what to do, where to eat etc..He was super friendly n we definitely enjoyed staying at this place.
