In my vist to Knuckles area (Riverston) I was struggled to find a good place to stay. But I was very fortunate to find accommodation here in Nature Villa. To be honest they provided the best customer service they could provide.(Special tanks to caretaker women Diviya) It's worth that to mention they have some delicious foods too.Thanks a lot Riverston Nature Villa and team for treating so well.I Highly recommend this place for accommodation to everyone who are planning to visit knuckles (Riverston)

Homely feel and amazing food and service. Enjoyed the library and endless cups of excellent tea. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water. Wifi worked very well in the library area. Tea tasting was interesting and some nice walks in the area. Thanks to Dave and the staff for a memorable stay :)

Hot water , wifi, tea/coffee making facility included in rooms. Great, very clean place located directly at the Main Street between Matale and Dambulla. Very friendly owner and above-average breakfast with best latte we have had in Sri Lanka.

Plantation Retreat is tucked away in Kandy, just 400 metres from Patanpaha Bus Stand. It welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi access.

Free toiletries are offered. Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Located within 10 km from the foothills of Knuckles Mountain Range, the hotel is also 2 km to Panwila Bus Stand. Kandy Railway Station and the popular Temple Of The Tooth relics are both 25 km away. The view is breathtaking. Staff was very polite and helpful. Raju, the caretaker, cooked sone delicious meals for us. Try hiking to the mini worlds end at the top of hatale for one of the best view points around.

The cosy guestrooms at Strathisla are cooled with a fan and fitted with wooden flooring. The en suite bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. We loved to stay at the strathisla guesthouse. The view is amazing, the garden with the pool perfect, the staff really friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the tasty food. Definitely a place we would come back.

As it was everything new to us, we had a good few questions and owner couldn't be more than helpful. He advised us on the places we can visit, where to exchange money etc. Communications been very clear. The house is located within working distance to the very busy town, but in the very quiet area, so we had a very good sleep 😁 If you are looking to visit Matale and looking to stay near by highly recommend to stay at this property 👍 This was a first time we saw the monkeys 🤣🤣
