Staff at the café/restaurant were exceptionally friendly! The food was good and not too expensive when compared with other restaurants on the beach. The location at the end of the bay makes this a nice quiet place compared with the rest of the beach. The beach hut, despite not having AC, was quite comfortable. The air-conditioned room was very comfortable too.

Excellent location at the quiet end of Coral Bay & right on the beach, which is kept clean. Accommodation is simple but adequate, with chairs & table outside each cabin. I extended my stay, moved from aircon/2 singles to no aircon/double. The guys were always cheerful, friendly & quick to assist. Free water refills was a nice touch, as were the yoga mats, beach shower and replacement towels. On the whole, the good outweighed the annoyances. When the shower was repaired, it was very good.

Beautiful classic wooden chalets - traditional style. Nowhere plastic furniture killing the eyes. Superb beach - maybe the best !!

Chomel Chalet is the best place to stay in the Perhentian Island We caught water taxis to other parts This was far the best Staff are wonderful Snorkeling was excellent straight out the front Of Chomel Chalet Loved it that much stayed a extra two days

The location in Coral Bay is amazing and just a 2 minute walk from the jetty where the boat taxi from the mainland drops you. The rooms are generously sized with a great veranda and outdoor seating. The cabins are also beautifully situated on the hillside between the sandy beach and the jungle. They have a lot of seating on the beach and also offer free cold water refills which was a nice touch. We weren’t expecting it but they also offered a buffet breakfast.

The staff is amazing, they think ahead, I was not supposed to ask for an extra day reservation as I was doing a diver course, they did already by themselves. Also they serve good breakfasts and make delicious bbq fish in the evening. Chalet has it's own beautiful private beach on the other side of the island meaning you will meet pretty sunsets on this side. There is a PADI Diver Course which I did for a good value and a cool instructor.

Locatiom good! The resort is placed In front of the beach and There are hammocks avaliable for the guests. We boked 3 cabins, two of them were more or less good but one of them looked like it wasn’t prepared for new guests. Nice service. Good snorkel activity Buffette breakfast scarce. Our advice, you should take your breakfast in Coral Beach at Ombak Resort for only 30 ringits

Outstanding view from the room, staff was adorable and helpful with everything. Breakfast included and Dive ce center right next to the hotel. The chalet were comfy and came with a terrasse with a view to die for .. incredible stay

The location is perfect . Perfect for my kids & my parents . The beach is just in front of the chalet .
