Lovely grounds and home. Terrific hostess (friendly, helpful son greeted me and got me settled in). Delicious traditional breakfast and charming kitties. I couldn’t figure out the TV. Instructions would be helpful. There was no hot water for shower. Since I was staying only 1 night it wasn’t a deal breaker. The location was very convenient to the airport. I only wanted a safe, quiet, clean place to sleep at a reasonable cost. This home fit the bill perfectly! I did sleep comfortably so I’m very pleased.

Beautiful artwork, clean and a nice area with multiple restaurant and shopping in a close distance. Only stayed one night to be close to the airport and it was around 30 min drive.

This property is an absolute gem! It’s unassuming from the outside but once you step inside, you feel transporting back to decades past. I believe her name was Alessandra explained to us that this property has been in her family for generations and it was once home to her family. Now it’s for travelers to enjoy and I just loved learning that about the property. You can just feel the history. She was so friendly and sweet and helped us get a taxi the next morning so promptly! The complimentary breakfast was DELICIOUS. Seriously amazing and the ambience of the breakfast area outside was beautiful. Plus this hotel was conveniently located near the airport. It was perfect for us coming in late at night from our flights that day to crash before heading out to see the rest of Costa Rica. Our room was small but exactly what we needed. It was a good deal for the price in my opinion. Everything was very clean and we would definitely pass through here again 🙂
