The Alda Hotel chain in Spain is known for its quality and very substantial breakfast buffet, which is certainly true of the Triacastela venue. We were walking the Camino (it is right on the path!) and arrived with my wife being injured, so given its quality and the helpfulness of the staff, we extended for three days. The staff was very kind and understanding and went out of its way to help us in many ways, including arranging an appt with the physio-therapist, which was the key to recovery. We will never forget their care for us during some difficult days on the Camino.

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning landscape with very large rooms. Staff were amazing. A short distance off the Camino however taxi was available for quick return to trail.
